Socialism fails because they try to create objective facts out of arbitrary values
@Vir ah hadn't actually heard of him. I haven't read as much Traditionalist literature as I have Fascist since it incorporates a lot of the good ideas traditionalism has into it most of the time anyway.
they were QUESTIONS
@Arthur Grayborn notice how I wasn't tagging you
That's because I wasn't talking to you
burrecrats doing what?
ππ»
read Evola if you havent its wacky and borderline crazy a lot of the time
but id you look past that
the base ideas are atleast interesting
@randomNPCno3 - Socialism fails because when you replace corporate management with government management, the result is always a shitshow. Government competence is so rare, that we only really use the government in cases where contractors and privatization would be even worse.
the problem with theory or acedemics is they think they know how something works but once the take so mething apart, there are SO many pieces they don't know what they do
Holy shit, it's almost like you should've just kept the government as a method of regulating the companies
what is management though?
Fucking hell
@ManAnimal - It's because academics rely on certain assumptions for their theory to work.
"If we have the government run everything, things will be so much better?"
They never bother to ask: "...but what if the government isn't competent, and you've just given them control of the entire food supply?"
these are blanket terms that completely change meaning when you change the system the operate under
If a socialist tried to make a cake, they'd reverse engineer fecal matter into batter. Fucking hell you idiots think backwards
governement never even in the USSR ran everthing
they manage everthing
they don't do the work
that is for the plebes
The USSR appointed managers to run things on the local level, @ManAnimal.
Those managers were typically inefficient, corrupt, and incompetent.
>let's design a system where the government runs everything, instead of regulating
>literally can only point to hippie communes
@Reprehensibletrash - Religious monasteries.
Catholic.
they called them 'managers' but their job was nothing like managers in the west
Because that worked so well
They did.
just like east germany and china are 'people's republics'
Jeez, if only everyone lived like a fucking monk, man
not the same meaning
lol that image was fucking nothing
The monasteries were also populated by extremely devoted people who chose to be there.
the harry potter thing
wtf...
It was opt-in, and not everyone got to go.
@Vir I've read Metaphysics of War, Revolt against the Modern World, Fascism viewed from the Right and I have listened to half the audiobook of The Mystery of the Grail (even though its mostly BS, its fun to listen to as a myth). Beyond that not sure if you'd consider Spengler a traditionalist and Yockey's renewal of Spengler was more of a Fascist imo. Haven't read anything else from actual old Traditionalists IIRC. Depends on how loose the definition is.
lol nice pic
@Vir that was good
