The only ABET computer science program that you can do online, in the entire country, charges $30,000 a year. You NEED ABET certification to work for half of the government contractors out there, and that's where most of the STEM work is unless you want to move to Commiefornia.

I also know if I had a degree that ACTUALLY FUCKING MEANT SOMETHING, there are tons of employers out there who kiss ass and make accommodations for a worker that knows his shit. Google is a perfect example of that.

My problem is, being someone who can learn advanced math and science on his own means jack shit because there are no high standards online degree programs that don't charge $30,000 per god damned fucking year.

i can't even learn some practical professional skill because locally they oy vey'd them down

the bureaucracy needed to approve some of the papers involving them was complicated to the point where if you don't already have them done, people won't bother with you
