I still have my 1600x

2019-08-01 09:09:58 UTC

I use AMD

2019-08-01 09:10:04 UTC

So I'm gonna be using my R5 1600 and 1080 machine until like 2022 :v

2019-08-01 09:10:09 UTC

At least

2019-08-01 09:10:10 UTC

I just ordered the 3600x on the internet lol

2019-08-01 09:10:28 UTC

I have a laptop because I'm not some sad manchild <:smugon:512048583806025739>

2019-08-01 09:10:29 UTC

price per quality wise, a AMD chip with the same price as an intel chip.
whats better

2019-08-01 09:10:35 UTC

Five years is minum, honestly I expect to only have to replace in 2025 or so

2019-08-01 09:10:36 UTC

I need upgrade my PSU before I get a better processor and I CBA for that

2019-08-01 09:10:38 UTC

if u want to maximise ur framerate to the nth degree , intel is still best bet

2019-08-01 09:10:47 UTC

Intel is better but the price difference is too big

2019-08-01 09:10:54 UTC

mainly due to the clocks

2019-08-01 09:10:57 UTC

But it’s not worth the increase in price

2019-08-01 09:10:59 UTC

Amd is best for your money tbh

2019-08-01 09:11:05 UTC

For a budget build AMD is bestest

2019-08-01 09:11:07 UTC

roger roger

2019-08-01 09:11:07 UTC

Way better value with AND

2019-08-01 09:11:08 UTC

Especially now

2019-08-01 09:11:14 UTC

Amd is way in the lead atm

2019-08-01 09:11:14 UTC

AMD

2019-08-01 09:11:19 UTC

but they still have slight advantage clock for clock

2019-08-01 09:11:23 UTC

and the quality is roughly even tbh

2019-08-01 09:11:33 UTC

And speed

2019-08-01 09:11:38 UTC

my 3600x is doing alright lmao

2019-08-01 09:11:41 UTC

It’s just if you want a BIT better

2019-08-01 09:11:41 UTC

i actually felt there were errors in pricing when i saw the list of parts and somehow AMD chips with the same-ish specs of intel ones were almost half the price of their counterparts

2019-08-01 09:11:49 UTC

Value for power is definitely with AMD but you literally require intel for certain stuff IE running a blu ray drive

2019-08-01 09:11:57 UTC

It's averaging out at a max of 4.3 GHz lol

2019-08-01 09:12:04 UTC

SSD plz

2019-08-01 09:12:11 UTC

what samaritan?

2019-08-01 09:12:21 UTC

>4.3 GHz

2019-08-01 09:12:21 UTC

Used to Idk if they changed it

2019-08-01 09:12:23 UTC

>blurays

2019-08-01 09:12:24 UTC

lmfao

2019-08-01 09:12:25 UTC

i think you mean for uhd

2019-08-01 09:12:27 UTC

>a Blu-ray drive

2019-08-01 09:12:29 UTC

Imagine not using an SSD in 2019

2019-08-01 09:12:29 UTC

I'm still astonished people even used that

2019-08-01 09:12:35 UTC

Nigger I don't even have a CD drive

2019-08-01 09:12:48 UTC

i dont really do much of that kinda stuff, but i do plan on some video editing in the future. a regular gaming CPU is fine with that right? or do i need a special one for editing

2019-08-01 09:13:01 UTC

I do have a CD drive, if for nothing else but that I have a pile of DVDs full of pirated isos that might not be accessible these days <:hyperthink:462282519883284480>
