yeah, tfw our Governor, Gavin Newsom, literally steps over homeless in Sacramento to hop in his private jet to go to Guatemala and talk about how California can help homeless people in foreign countries.
I honesty don't get how these "passionate progressives" in this state tolerate our state and city leaders calling opening the city parks up to public camping and putting out public porta-potties a homeless relief policy.
yeah, the idiots in this state almost implemented rent control to put more people on the street when all the landlords sell off their properties when the unelected rent board sets the limit to be too low.
Yet they don't attack the issue at its source which is billionaires and millionaires overpaying for housing razing it to unaffordable levels and endless building regulation slowing down construction projects. There is also a lot of Chinese buying up properties as I doubt we have any anti-imperialism laws to prevent external property buyouts.
the main thing they never should of given up was Hong Kong. Like hell China wouldn't get their fingers deep into HK politics as soon as Britain handed them over to China.
