Zionism is not merely the push for the establishment and preservation of a Jewish state.
It’s also the presumption that such a state is prescribed by god. That the Jewish people have *divine* right to that land.
I support the state of Israel, it is a beacon on civilization in an otherwise backwards and hostile land. But, as an atheist, I can never support the principle of Zionism.

I really don’t want to get in the Torah’s writing on goyim and their beliefs about the apocalypse but it’s not nice to people like me

2019-08-12 05:10:08 UTC

no thought or action

2019-08-12 05:10:17 UTC

Anything that's divinely-ordained is actually genuine fucking CANCER

2019-08-12 05:10:28 UTC

ok

2019-08-12 05:10:34 UTC

@Muten I don't see anything wrong with it, it is identifying people with a similar mindset/set of beliefs

2019-08-12 05:10:36 UTC

why?

2019-08-12 05:10:42 UTC

What about Marriage?

2019-08-12 05:11:20 UTC

It might be cancer, but it's useful to society

2019-08-12 05:11:49 UTC

I hope the best for Israel but I don’t want their beliefs and influence here

2019-08-12 05:11:49 UTC

Idk much about that.

2019-08-12 05:12:04 UTC

I can argue geopolitics pretty well

2019-08-12 05:12:59 UTC

What counts as " a sense of white victimization"?

2019-08-12 05:13:13 UTC

better question

2019-08-12 05:13:16 UTC

what doesn't

2019-08-12 05:13:31 UTC

Being entitled or not being put down

2019-08-12 05:13:39 UTC

Being victimized

2019-08-12 05:13:47 UTC

It is a bit of a buzzword

2019-08-12 05:13:54 UTC

Now days

Their beliefs (culturally) are our beliefs. They are western.

Their geopolitics (trying to keep the Middle East contained and manageable) are our geopolitics. They aren’t radical Islamic extremists.

2019-08-12 05:13:58 UTC

@Muten I'd assume a feeling that Whites are being attacked or replaced.

But that question personally to me was the least important indicator of all 3, the other 2 are a better predictor.

2019-08-12 05:13:59 UTC

ding ding ding

2019-08-12 05:14:09 UTC

@Snake TBF what **isn't** a buzzword these days?

There obviously is a significant portion of moralfaging and general, non-realist geopolitcs behind the US' support for Israel. At least in terms of the amount of said support. It's not entirely worthless at all. But it's not THAT crucial either. Especially with the House of Saud being a US asset. Turkey is kinda iffy nao, but whatever. Not the end of the world and Israel s'not gonna stahp a Turkey sized player anyway.

2019-08-12 05:14:22 UTC

I think that even without US boots on the ground Israel did pretty well on its own.

2019-08-12 05:14:36 UTC

"a strong sense of white identity" Take this from the perspective of a leftist.
