well no one can come to an agreement who the tyrants are, for one thing
they don't have to agree
then thats a civil war, not an uprising
if that's what's necessary
the longer a nation persists, the more likely this becomes
because people are loathe to use small dramatic measures in a timely matter, they must resort to more extreme measures far too late
and it makes a big mess of everything
Right now, everyone is just in a kind of holding pattern. Things haven't gotten bad enough yet. They're still too comfortable, there's too much to lose. But they're already losing. Inch by Inch.
Most people won't think to act until they're right on the cliff edge, staring down into the crags and surf.
