And what is my argument ,then?
That's my point, you have no argument, it lacks a core
Cause I have not made it yet, if you follow the discussion.
Yes, that's my point
Like just say it
We want to know what you have to say but you're not arriving at the destination
I want to say there are 2 distinc states human cultures can fall into-progressive or conservative.
Those two are mutually exclusive.
Tell us something new
Since they are mutually exclusive any and every society at any point of its history must choose to be either progressive, or conservative.
The new point @ETBrooD is that if you choose to be progressive you MUST choose to prefer change over certainty, but if you choose to be conservative you MUST prefer survivability over change.
yawn
I asked you to tell us something new, but you're not going to apparently.
The two are mutually exclusive and what people can't get, never get is precisely that CHOICE!
You can't both be progressive and give equal freedom in decision making for all and be conservative and advocate saving your renowned political structure and habits. Can you get it?
You either give liberty to a bunch of fools hoping for the better, but preparing for the worst, or, you deny access to newcomers to your political institutions and decision making processes. You MUST CHOOSE either option, can't have both.
So as a real world example, modern Western countries just can not BOTH give everyone free access to their social institutions and save the aforementioned institutions.
Then tell me why America is probably the most divided western country between progressivism and conservatism right now
If you want to save the institutions, you must limit the access to them, if you want to give equal rights to anyone, you can not save the very institutions that gave them this access.
Which will it be, then?
EVOLUTION @ETBrooD !
Do wish to elaborate it for you?
Called it
But I should extrapolate ideas from complexity sciences like biology, maths, geology and even computer science to be able to explain it why to you.
I'm afraid Humanities themselves won't cut it!
So, do you have the patience for such a diversion?
"I never said genetics"
...
"Yes, genetics"
The plot thickens
Evolution isn't based solely on genetics.
Eugenics here we come.
Who told you so?
You just did
No, we don't.
I said COMPLEXITY SCIENCES.
It's far wider of a field than plain eugenics.
Ahhh the Jew dances around the topic yet again. Never fails to add nothing. Can't conceive of evolution used in a cultural manner. Will you ever tire of your pilpul?
Yeah, I made these claims, so WHERE did I said anything about eugenics?
Genetics, not eugenics
