Civ is way less complex and requires less thought then any paradox game

the first couple C&C games are a bit chunky for me. I really loved Red Alert 2. Campy story and all!

Civ is a glorified children's strategy game

Civ 3 Conquest was the best.

After it it started to get progressively worse.

I admit the idea was brilliant at the start but then Sid just ruined it.

Civ 4 was, and still is, playable but after Civ 5 I just don't want to see it.

Star Craft 2 is still the top, thou.

It is not a coincidence people still hold world championships.

I feel like there are no more good strategies out there.

The genre has died out.

Civ fell down. Sid got corrupted. AoE is trash. C&C has nothing new for DECADES and the only one standing tall is, of course, Brood war, but for how long?

Act of Aggression could have been nice, but it really didnt get a push. Sadly the strategy community doesn't help push their games very well. Look at the FGC, new fighter comes out, the hype men come out of the wood work. not so much for strategy games
