Where there are no checks currently

2019-08-27 13:08:48 UTC

That is pure speculation on your part

2019-08-27 13:08:52 UTC

Though, it will be more expensive

2019-08-27 13:09:06 UTC

Go look at boat trips across the channel and from France to ROI

2019-08-27 13:09:17 UTC

fact is, there already is hard border between FR and GB and illegals still choose it over ROI and NI

2019-08-27 13:09:19 UTC

I’ll tell you this now. The ROI one is more expensive.

2019-08-27 13:09:32 UTC

It'll most likely just be like it is for travelling in the EU. If you're an EU citizen, you go through one checkpoint, if you're not you go through another.
Britain will most likely do this with NI/Ireland border. If you're Irish, you go through one checkpoint and get in with ease, if you're not Irish, you go through another checkpoint and need a VISA or further checks.

2019-08-27 13:09:37 UTC

These piss poor people trying to get across don’t have much money.

2019-08-27 13:09:59 UTC

And then we will be breaking the Good Friday agreement..

2019-08-27 13:10:00 UTC

Fucking poor ppl, lmao

2019-08-27 13:10:08 UTC

Let them eat cake

2019-08-27 13:10:12 UTC

UBI em

2019-08-27 13:10:16 UTC

And even if you had border checks between ROI and NI, that's still and long land border. What are you gonna do with that? Build a fence?

2019-08-27 13:10:37 UTC

That’s your job to find out.. Not mine

2019-08-27 13:10:51 UTC

You’re the people speculating about alternatives

2019-08-27 13:10:58 UTC

european civilization is dying the only way to save it is to destroy the EU

2019-08-27 13:11:06 UTC

I’m just telling you if they break arranged agreements or not

2019-08-27 13:11:23 UTC

It's already the "harder" route than one directly through border checks.

2019-08-27 13:11:54 UTC

Therefore hard border between ROI and NI isn't really necessary

2019-08-27 13:12:06 UTC

Correct, it isn’t.

2019-08-27 13:12:13 UTC

I think this worry of non-Irish nationals getting through the Irish/NI border isn't a huge issue tbh
Considering it's an island, it's just as hard to get to Ireland illegally as it is GB. It's not like travelling through the mainland.

2019-08-27 13:12:18 UTC

Keeping us in accord with the Good Friday agreement.

2019-08-27 13:12:33 UTC

But then when someone walks into NI, they’re in GB.

2019-08-27 13:12:38 UTC

Meaning they can go anywhere

2019-08-27 13:12:39 UTC

We should just unite Ireland entirely and then nuke it <:smugon:512048583806025739>

2019-08-27 13:12:55 UTC

we must return to what made Europe great there for all of the Values that the EU promotes must be destroyed such as this idea of "equality" we should demand freedom not Equality

2019-08-27 13:13:11 UTC

Imagine thinking that NI is not rightfully part of the Republic, smh

2019-08-27 13:13:33 UTC

You just agreed that hard border isn't necessary.

2019-08-27 13:13:33 UTC

@tea_in_space Yes yes Mr. Mikke, we know.

2019-08-27 13:13:39 UTC

I don’t recognise illegitimate warmongering terror states @Tonight at 11 - DOOM

2019-08-27 13:13:57 UTC

Between NI and the ROI, it’s not. @leavethisbotnet

2019-08-27 13:13:58 UTC

so why do you keep bringing up that "they can just cross to NI"?

2019-08-27 13:14:30 UTC

like do the party's them selves have manifesto's or something @Tonight at 11 - DOOM

2019-08-27 13:14:33 UTC

You get money you hang out with businessmen and you buy legislation @tea_in_space

2019-08-27 13:14:34 UTC

Else we would violate the good Friday agreement

2019-08-27 13:14:46 UTC

If they cross into NI, then they can go anywhere in GB

2019-08-27 13:14:48 UTC

@tea_in_space Proportional elections with D'Hont's method

2019-08-27 13:14:50 UTC
