otherwise, ANYONE starts to sniff their own farts

2019-08-29 20:42:41 UTC

And the best way to do it is to experience things and apply rational thought (if not a full scientific method) to the experienced phenomenon

2019-08-29 20:42:47 UTC

Exept for feels

2019-08-29 20:42:59 UTC

Feels are something irrational from the start

2019-08-29 20:43:17 UTC

if you CAN know, think; if there are too many variables, use your judgement

2019-08-29 20:43:58 UTC

You don't decide on what car to buy via impulse. Similarly, you don't use a checklist to decide what career to pursue or who to marry

2019-08-29 20:47:50 UTC

are any of you of the understanding that we really are in a simulation though , whether generated by space tortoise or Ai?

2019-08-29 20:48:20 UTC

based on quantum theory/mechanics?

2019-08-29 20:48:27 UTC

fake news from sub-par scientists

2019-08-29 20:48:35 UTC

how so?

2019-08-29 20:49:35 UTC

the idea is based on the nature of the universe and that "information'' or an impression remains even it the matter or energy is removed or destroyed

2019-08-29 20:50:16 UTC

someones base maybe

2019-08-29 20:50:24 UTC

trouble is that it's instance of not remembering what they terms in the math represent

2019-08-29 20:50:59 UTC

quantum theory illlustrates particle wave duality

2019-08-29 20:51:30 UTC

a cloud now illustrates electrons

2019-08-29 20:51:40 UTC

an particles position and velocity can't be known at the same time because the act of measuring the particle changes the measurement

2019-08-29 20:52:03 UTC

and the math shows that the particle 'blinks in and out of existance'

2019-08-29 20:52:19 UTC

so that we can only predict the region in which it occurs

2019-08-29 20:52:24 UTC

and thats what you are basing your defence of materialistic dogma?

2019-08-29 20:52:39 UTC

no, i haven't gotten to that point yet

2019-08-29 20:52:40 UTC

But won't that discombobulate the Flux capacitors?

2019-08-29 20:52:41 UTC

that is just the primer

2019-08-29 20:52:43 UTC

physical particles blinking in and out of existence?

2019-08-29 20:52:51 UTC

just the primer...

2019-08-29 20:53:15 UTC

fuck i thought it was cut and dry but i never talked to godman<:hypersmugon:544638648721604608>

2019-08-29 20:53:35 UTC

God is dead because allah killed him.

the problem is that the fundamental nature of the universe is unknown and what we can observe has limits; think of it this way, a 'universe' is a conceptualization as it cannot be observed in it's entirety

2019-08-29 20:54:30 UTC

Germany after gassing all the Jews: “oh he clean though”

2019-08-29 20:54:51 UTC

The only thing we can be sure of is that existence is real.

2019-08-29 20:55:03 UTC

being a concept, a representation, any universe conceptualized must by it's nature SUPPORT a being capable of conceptualization

2019-08-29 20:55:05 UTC

Everything else is a subjective view

2019-08-29 20:55:08 UTC

yeah but are you confusing the model with whats being modelled?

2019-08-29 20:55:30 UTC

as one cannot know what is 'outside' that sphere, it's lcircular reasoning

2019-08-29 20:55:58 UTC

it's more like the interpretations of the equations and what they mean

2019-08-29 20:56:20 UTC

We can assume another person shares the same subjective view as us so we can assume that when we talk about reality we are talking about the same thing.

2019-08-29 20:56:27 UTC

for example, does Time really exist or is it just a 3d refernce frame?

2019-08-29 20:56:41 UTC

but they are using what they have discovered works ... and they are modelling what IS happening outside the sphere of reality

2019-08-29 20:56:43 UTC

It’s only when you get into philosophy that you can’t assume a shared worldview.

2019-08-29 20:56:49 UTC

the math says there are at least 7 dimensions

My head hurts from all the structural alluminium alloy properties
