That's how I got involved. The Austin chapter was small, so the boys did a big recruiting drive with posters. Much kvetching ensued. I said, "damn, I should seek these maniacs out"

Well, I have only done it once, and it turned out great. So that's 100%

Just take your time.

I cut the VA logo in half, and printed it on two pages. Then I trimmed margins and taped it together. Then, I traced it onto the stencil blank. Then, slowly cut with exacto knife and the little cutting pad.

I cheated on some lines so as to not make sections to thin, and I cheated on some of the really fine details.

what did you use, posterboard?

Nope. Hobby Lobby sells stencil blanks. It's like $8 or so for 3 of them, roughly 12X18"

are they thicker?

They are plastic backed, and partially translucent for easy tracing

They aren't very thick, but they are tough because of the plastic backing

im really bad at that type of shit, but if i have time having one or two would help me a lot
