There's a couple of outcomes coming up in my head
Well we seem to have a minor Brexit civil war starting about if this deal if acceptable to the Brexit side
Plan is passed with the help of a dozen or more Labour rebels/independents. Boris does well in polls, Corbyn forced to resign
or Plan is voted down, No deal Brexit ensues on the strength of the EU rejecting an extension
All hell breaks loose
meh, it wont be that bad
just not great either
*You want ANOTHER extension?*
for a while
That is Ian Blackford throwing Labour under the bus knowing it's a no-risk strategy for him
It seems like the vote is going to be very close
I think we'll be given an extension if this deal fails
I think so too
I think that's wack, Lizard
Lib Dems will be unanimous, some tory independents will vote against, labour rebels will be higher
I think Boris should strike a deal with the SNP, to support a second independence referendum in exchange for them backing his deal
It would be acceptable
Besides they would likely vote to stay in the UK anyway
It would be bad right now
After Brexit
Unless they mandated a 4 year delay on the vote
And then made brexit work and work well
He agrees to hold an independence referendum in a year or so in exchange for them backing his deal
It would likely get his deal passed
At the cost of the union
Assuming they vote to Leave
I don't think they would
@The Electric Lizard I'd be down for that
At the moment it's touch and go
THe reason I said a delay would be helpful is that it gives Boris a chance to put the country right before they voted
Thus giving him a chance to undo the damage to the vote that has been caused by the brexit debacle
I am going to predict it now, He will pass the deal
Well he would say that, he's high up in the media pecking order
Since I haven't really looked into it at all... how good/bad is BJ's deal?
Not much media attention to be got from "nope, it's not close"
