Why

2019-10-17 20:58:16 UTC

*Depending on the context of course*

2019-10-17 20:59:11 UTC

Because the people usually getting stabbed, shot, and acid-attacked are in migrant-populated minority areas which don't adopt British culture.

2019-10-17 20:59:33 UTC

Gotta love those honour-killings

2019-10-17 20:59:49 UTC

And child-prostitution

2019-10-17 21:00:10 UTC

All right

2019-10-17 21:00:19 UTC

You gotta admit that acid-attack on a three year old was warranted; part and parcel of living in a melting-pot.

2019-10-17 21:00:24 UTC

Can a Brit explain what happened?
"EU approves Boris Johnson's Brexit deal" https://twitter.com/i/events/1184585277886492672

2019-10-17 21:00:46 UTC

I call bullshit but I haven't seen the deal

2019-10-17 21:06:04 UTC

I don't think the deal is open to the public yet

2019-10-17 21:11:07 UTC

@Railingo

TL;DR as I understand it: Boris has wrangled a deal that the EU are happy with. On Saturday Parliament will take a vote on it. Main opposition (Labour/ Lib Dems) will vote against it. If it passes, we leave with said deal. If it doesn't, who the fuck knows? Jean-Claude Juncker (president of the European Commission) has said there won't be more extensions. That leaves No-Deal, but that is vehemently opposed by much of Parliament, so they will try to stop that somehow. Predictions put the result very close, so it could go either way.

2019-10-17 21:17:49 UTC

It really could go either way

2019-10-17 21:19:59 UTC

Oh i heard about this

2019-10-17 21:20:08 UTC

Can't say i am disappointed

2019-10-17 21:20:45 UTC

Are the waitings times for trains not bad enough?!

2019-10-17 21:23:16 UTC

shouldve pushed them off the other side into an oncoming train

2019-10-17 21:24:50 UTC

That could have worked

2019-10-17 21:25:08 UTC

That would get the police to intervene too

2019-10-17 21:26:22 UTC

the guy was white, someone could've just said he offended them with anti islam statements, cops would've dragged him off there sharpish

2019-10-17 21:35:43 UTC

It seems like it is going to be very close

2019-10-17 21:53:18 UTC

@Mavalance extinction rebellion faggolas on the trains

2019-10-17 21:55:24 UTC

The left's capacity for double-think is astounding

2019-10-17 21:55:57 UTC

A GE would be good

2019-10-17 21:57:36 UTC

and the potential no-deal loophole was closed by amending the Benn act

2019-10-17 21:58:04 UTC

> Johnson only has to send a letter requesting an extension if MPs fail to pass a motion backing a deal by Saturday. In theory they could pass that motion, but then fail to pass the withdrawal agreement legislation, which would mean the UK leaving without a deal on 31 October.

2019-10-17 21:58:11 UTC

i so want benn to be deselected, and forever remain unemployable, as a traitor of the worst form

2019-10-17 21:58:36 UTC

> Sir Oliver Letwin’s amendment was passed by 287 votes to 275 – a majority of 12.

2019-10-17 21:58:53 UTC

> Explaining his amendment in the debate Letwin said this would allow the government motion on Saturday to be amended. He implied it would allow MPs to insist on Boris Johnson requesting an extension anyway, and only withdrawing that request when the legislation for his deal has passed.

2019-10-17 21:59:57 UTC

but that's still just BoJo requesting an extension, it doesn't mean he'll get it. although i suppose the eu might grant it

2019-10-17 22:02:28 UTC

letwin, another traitor

2019-10-17 22:02:47 UTC

@Crafty Juncker has said he will not endorse an extension

2019-10-17 22:03:12 UTC

It's deal, no deal or revoke at this point

2019-10-17 22:03:14 UTC

does his endorsement actually count for anything?

2019-10-17 22:03:22 UTC

People listen to him system
