2019-10-17 22:56:11 UTC

It's neither, it's treating NI as master of their own fuure

2019-10-17 23:01:10 UTC

oh dayum.... there is a guy in germany on trial who was a guard at a WWII concentration camp

2019-10-17 23:01:27 UTC

his trial started today

2019-10-17 23:01:46 UTC

I think that's fucking retarded, and i've disagreed with them going after similar in the past

2019-10-17 23:01:50 UTC

I know I heard about it last week

2019-10-17 23:01:53 UTC

Get over it already, they were following orders

2019-10-17 23:01:57 UTC

what is the charge? being a soldier in ww2?

2019-10-17 23:02:18 UTC

he wasnt a soldier he was a concentration camp guard

2019-10-17 23:02:34 UTC

Not really a relevent distinction though, is it?

2019-10-17 23:03:11 UTC

was he an authority figure? if not what is the point

2019-10-17 23:03:22 UTC

Germans hating themselves, Crafty

2019-10-17 23:03:29 UTC

he was 17

2019-10-17 23:03:37 UTC

yikes

2019-10-17 23:04:05 UTC

It's a witchhunt

2019-10-17 23:04:07 UTC

thats why ... even tho he's 93 he's going through the juvenile court

2019-10-17 23:04:30 UTC

It wasn't illegal for one, and there has to be a statue of limitations for these things for two

2019-10-17 23:06:05 UTC

say he's convicted, he goes to jail for what? 5 years if they're lucky. nice waste of time

2019-10-17 23:06:20 UTC

not many people make it to 100

2019-10-17 23:06:49 UTC

convicted of what, though?

2019-10-17 23:08:17 UTC

> The man, known as "Bruno D," will face a Hamburg court over the deaths of 5,230 people

2019-10-17 23:08:36 UTC

> According to the indictment, the defendant knowingly supported the "insidious and cruel killing" at Stutthof concentration camp, in what is now modern-day Poland.

2019-10-17 23:08:55 UTC

Best watch out then if you work in the AMerican penal system and had anything remotely to do with executing prisoners

2019-10-17 23:09:51 UTC

Ya RIP people working at guantanomo bay lmao

2019-10-17 23:11:21 UTC

Well it would be the same precedent were it happening in the USA

2019-10-17 23:13:02 UTC

they will def figure out a drug so everyone has this... more work hours for corps! https://twitter.com/newscientist/status/1184958554463182848?s=20

2019-10-17 23:13:24 UTC

That's why we ultimately need socialism

2019-10-17 23:15:19 UTC
2019-10-17 23:15:39 UTC

GET BACK TO WORK

2019-10-17 23:15:59 UTC

lol, i leave work, i leave all of it

2019-10-17 23:29:07 UTC

what a dumb take, if you're stressed by being disconnected from work at all hours, you already have the problems that require legislation

2019-10-17 23:29:16 UTC

+against

2019-10-17 23:30:29 UTC

i've done on-call work for the past 18 years in addition to office hours. that's the only acceptable time for companies to expect out of hours contactability

2019-10-17 23:32:32 UTC

even if theres an understanding that someone will probably pick up the phone when called or check their email, the fact that it's on a rota and paid still gives you separation in your mind. it's time they have purchased, not an ongoing blurring of where your personal life begins and ends

2019-10-17 23:34:17 UTC

there are guys at work who are doing all kinds of crazy hours, keeping an eye on email at 10pm as part of the horrible game of keeping up appearances, and you can see the effects. theyre always run ragged by it, one of them has been suffering from a cold for 2 weeks. this happens, it runs you down physically too

Liberalism is at fault.

2019-10-18 02:07:22 UTC

this isnt liberalism

2019-10-18 06:56:48 UTC

It's intersectionality, that's based on marxism, not liberalism

2019-10-18 07:42:08 UTC

intersectionality is based on neither
