No innovation except gender-equal street fighter gangs

2019-09-04 07:03:10 UTC

AC turned into FIFA where a new year meant a new game in the series.

2019-09-04 07:03:35 UTC

yeah, yearly releases are a death sentence to any game genre

2019-09-04 07:03:38 UTC

Then someone realized it's dick retarded and tried to make something different and it ended up being a mythical open world RPG

2019-09-04 07:04:10 UTC

It's not really about being an ass anymore, but if they changed the name, then oh no, muh brand recognition

2019-09-04 07:04:13 UTC

i keep telling people that odyssey and origins were more RPGs than an asscreed-style stealth game

2019-09-04 07:04:40 UTC

what kind of stealth game doesnt give an instakill if you do an air assassination or do it from stealth

2019-09-04 07:05:02 UTC

I mean, it IS better than whatever Unity and Syndicate were attempting (that is, nothing).

2019-09-04 07:05:16 UTC

But yea, when you do an assassination, it should, I dunno, assassinate the target

2019-09-04 07:05:45 UTC

Wouldn't even mind if you could only use the instakills on the targets.

2019-09-04 07:05:54 UTC

the moment in the trailers where i saw a kill move not--killing and damage numbers popped up, i knew its not about assassins anymore

2019-09-04 07:18:57 UTC

Ye

2019-09-04 07:19:02 UTC

"wait, weapons have stats now?"

2019-09-04 07:19:21 UTC

Also let's not forget about that homing arrow that followed the guy down the stairs

2019-09-04 11:35:44 UTC

@Xaverius that's a shame.... didn't finish Matt's run, so never got to Capaldi.

2019-09-04 11:36:10 UTC

He really deserves writing that's not shit

2019-09-04 11:36:32 UTC

@Jokerfaic Where did you stop?

2019-09-04 11:38:15 UTC

Aw fuck... lemme think

2019-09-04 11:42:53 UTC

Dalek planet I guess?

2019-09-04 11:43:23 UTC

rather the dalek prison

2019-09-04 11:43:31 UTC

....mmmmmaaayyybe

2019-09-04 11:43:38 UTC

way too long ago

2019-09-04 11:43:46 UTC

That one was ok

2019-09-04 11:44:35 UTC

I mean, it was after the insufferable River Song storyline

2019-09-04 11:44:52 UTC

yeah, definitely

2019-09-04 11:44:58 UTC

Once they finished that terrible OC, the show became a bit better

2019-09-04 11:44:59 UTC

fuck, that got old fast

2019-09-04 11:45:30 UTC

She does appear in one christmas episode with Capaldi, but it's tolerable. Because it's only one episode.

2019-09-04 11:47:24 UTC

As for that season you stopped in, it has some generic filler, then one of the weakest episodes ever (written by Chibnall, the current showrunner, who wrote like 5 episodes in total and). Then Moffat decided to make the weeping angels even less scary and over the top. And the second half is actually pretty ok.

2019-09-04 11:48:14 UTC

It also switches Amy and Rory for Clara, whom a lot of people hate, because she'S got another arbitrary plot thread tacked on her (resolved in the season finale and the 50th anniversary) and she's doing much better as a character once that is gone and forgotten

2019-09-04 11:49:02 UTC

Ah, angels in new york, no I saw that one

2019-09-04 11:49:08 UTC

Hmm

2019-09-04 11:49:20 UTC

So you almost finished Smith then

2019-09-04 11:49:32 UTC

I suppose

2019-09-04 11:49:50 UTC

In all likelyhood I may have jumped a few episodes

2019-09-04 11:50:02 UTC

memory on it, again, is unreliable

2019-09-04 11:50:12 UTC

Jumping episodes will just confuse you even more

2019-09-04 11:50:33 UTC

Have better recollection of Tom Baker's run

2019-09-04 11:51:17 UTC

CYBERPUNK MULTIPLAYER YAH OR NAH

2019-09-04 11:51:26 UTC

Well, S8 has Capaldi and it's pretty capable as far as modern who writing goes, even though that'S not saying much. He's extra stark compared to Smith and there's one small but memorable scene between him and Clara at the end of the first ep

2019-09-04 11:51:56 UTC

The episode In the Forest of the Night however has no fucking point and it takes the whole episode to figure out there's no point
