For the many, not the Jew @Miniature Menace

2019-09-06 00:12:35 UTC

Fascism is economically flexible and can be anywhere on the economic scale..

2019-09-06 00:12:54 UTC

@Weez So Fascism **CAN** be Left-Wing, but it isn't inherently?

2019-09-06 00:13:04 UTC

Which type of Fascism is on the Left-Wing?

2019-09-06 00:13:20 UTC

<:hyperthink:462282519883284480>

2019-09-06 00:13:28 UTC

Define "left-wing".

2019-09-06 00:13:43 UTC

Left and right are **defined** by seating order in parliament house.

2019-09-06 00:13:52 UTC

It can vary between countries.

2019-09-06 00:13:59 UTC

Fascism can be anywhere, but all (If I recall correctly) have been right leaning economically

2019-09-06 00:14:00 UTC

πŸ˜‰

2019-09-06 00:14:16 UTC

It's basically Socialism, but without the exact same intent or justification of many other forms of socialism. Methodologically, it still serves the function of redistributing resources irrespective of property claims based on maximizing some desirable outcome.

2019-09-06 00:14:23 UTC

@whiic False.

2019-09-06 00:14:38 UTC

@Weez Technically true in the beginning

2019-09-06 00:14:44 UTC

Left and right wing give people an idea of a position on a specific axis.

2019-09-06 00:14:45 UTC

Sorry, I meant "National Socialism"

2019-09-06 00:14:48 UTC

IE, economic axis.

2019-09-06 00:14:52 UTC

Leftwing are parties that have their seat on the left, when viewed from the pulpit of the chairman.

2019-09-06 00:14:53 UTC

Cultural axis.

2019-09-06 00:15:00 UTC

@Weez "Left" and "Right" originated from two groups that sat on two sides of Parliament

2019-09-06 00:15:05 UTC

Authoritarian axis.

2019-09-06 00:15:17 UTC

Not used like that anymore.

2019-09-06 00:15:26 UTC

Yeah, but it **started** like that

2019-09-06 00:15:36 UTC

But now isn't used like that <:pot_of_kek:544849795433496586>

2019-09-06 00:15:36 UTC

so Whiic is technically right

2019-09-06 00:15:38 UTC

Left and right makes no sense to begin with. It's arbitrary.

2019-09-06 00:15:39 UTC

Fascism is kind of a different thing, that's really kind of nebulous because of how it's been used. Fascism is less an *economic* policy and more an *authority and accountability* policy. At least from what I understand.

2019-09-06 00:15:48 UTC

Who cares how it *started*, we care about how it's being used now

2019-09-06 00:16:02 UTC

@whiic Depends on the context.

2019-09-06 00:16:09 UTC

Generally it can be pretty revealing.

2019-09-06 00:16:14 UTC

@Weez Well, today it's used as "everyone to the right of Stalin is far-right".

2019-09-06 00:16:27 UTC

Maybe in your hyperbolic echo chamber, sure.
