Why ruin that by potentially giving him back that majority in a GE

2019-09-05 18:32:47 UTC

for once i agree with remainer

2019-09-05 18:32:47 UTC

Since Boris has come in

2019-09-05 18:32:51 UTC

He’s lost his majority

2019-09-05 18:32:56 UTC

By a fuck oof

2019-09-05 18:33:00 UTC

Load*

2019-09-05 18:33:04 UTC

And lost every single vote

2019-09-05 18:33:08 UTC

why would the tories weaken their collective hand before brexit occurs?

2019-09-05 18:33:14 UTC

@ManAnimal - My entire point is that if some rich fuck has a lot of money to throw around, and decides to go into direct competition with a presently existing electric or cable monopoly, the government should STEP THE FUCK BACK and let it happen, for the sake of the customers.

They're not, and that's why the people who run the government need to be taken behind a shed and shot.

2019-09-05 18:33:58 UTC

tfw Tories are favourite to win and the Lib and Lab vote is so heavily split it'll lead to a Tory majority but Corbyn is playing it smart.

2019-09-05 18:33:58 UTC

The single largest anti-competitive move in the book, at the moment, is that god awful right of way fee.

2019-09-05 18:34:00 UTC

you don't understand the infrastructure trade-off. I am a damn libertaian. I hate gov because i have seen how they fuck shit up first hand

2019-09-05 18:34:11 UTC

on 90% of things, companies do it bETTER

2019-09-05 18:34:12 UTC

Exactly

2019-09-05 18:34:22 UTC

but NOT if you cannot SEPERATE the incentives

2019-09-05 18:34:24 UTC

Giving bojo a GE is giving him what he wants

2019-09-05 18:34:30 UTC

Atm he’s weak

2019-09-05 18:34:47 UTC

and with Power Distribution, you CANNOT economically seperate out the incentives

2019-09-05 18:35:39 UTC

I'm pretty sure two electric companies duking it out, running lines into each other's territory and attaching new electric boxes to people's homes while disconnecting the old ones, constantly engaging in price wars and striving to keep their grid in top shape because a single blackout could cost them a fuckload of market share, is exactly what SHOULD happen.

2019-09-05 18:35:51 UTC

you either pay WAY more for dedicated lines which require WAY more maintence, install costs AND losses incurred or your rely on shared infrastructure to reach customers

2019-09-05 18:36:12 UTC

Anyone on smart meters yet?

2019-09-05 18:36:13 UTC

You're assuming you can't have two electric companies running on the same pole.

2019-09-05 18:36:20 UTC

I am CERTAIN they do not because they aren't allowed by NEC

2019-09-05 18:36:21 UTC

Different lines, same pole.

2019-09-05 18:36:25 UTC

In the video, Corbyn didn't even answer the question, and then led onto bollocks about inequality in one of the most equal and tolerant countries in the world.

2019-09-05 18:36:26 UTC

National Electric Code

2019-09-05 18:36:32 UTC

He's just shooting out talking points for no reason tbh

2019-09-05 18:36:37 UTC

Then the NEC needs to be abolished.

2019-09-05 18:36:38 UTC

Tbh no one is answering any questions

2019-09-05 18:36:42 UTC

Not Bojo or Corbyn

2019-09-05 18:36:49 UTC

that would result in DEATH

2019-09-05 18:36:50 UTC

True

2019-09-05 18:36:59 UTC

And gove just lies and mogg insults doctors

2019-09-05 18:37:04 UTC

Lib Dem’s cry

2019-09-05 18:37:04 UTC

You cannot just 'add lines' to the existing poles

2019-09-05 18:37:06 UTC

Oh no, insults!

2019-09-05 18:37:10 UTC

SNP whine

2019-09-05 18:37:14 UTC

It’s all a shit show

2019-09-05 18:37:16 UTC

If another electric company wants to come in where I live, add their own lines to the power poles, and do a hookup offering electricity at a lower rate, we should let them.

2019-09-05 18:37:16 UTC

no flag for me

Yea I’m not gonna respect a politician who thinks he knows more about medicine than a doctor
