i used to hate it in disciples tbh

so disciples plays like HOMM a lot but it does have different mechanics

ye in disciples you have two armies stood opposite of each other performing attack move or defense move

so you have different classes and 6 slots, your leader cant hire all 6 slots at first, needs to level up

yeah there could be some scissors paper rock kind of strategy to it

but theres not enough units for that 😂

so its mostly levelling up your minions asap so they get highest stats possible
