Sorry to interrupt, but who was the "Destiny" Sargon and the Guys were dunking on last live stream?

2019-11-30 00:05:29 UTC

sorry didn't watch

2019-11-30 00:05:44 UTC

no idea, sorry.

2019-11-30 00:05:50 UTC

Its fine

2019-11-30 00:05:56 UTC

I try to watch as often as I can, but my work load can keep me occupied.

2019-11-30 00:06:25 UTC

also, trucks are very discriminated against, as are the drivers.

2019-11-30 00:06:41 UTC

the whole small dick thing

2019-11-30 00:06:46 UTC

Wait, is destiny relevant again?

2019-11-30 00:06:52 UTC

lol

2019-11-30 00:08:17 UTC

Just remember, you may make fun of truck drivers all you want. However, they were the first responders in their lifted trucks in hurricane Harvey because the military's were drowned;.

2019-11-30 00:08:48 UTC

the rednecks save the day

2019-11-30 00:09:42 UTC

for me there are "trucks" and "pickups"

2019-11-30 00:10:58 UTC

"trucks" are big and build to haul goods, most of them have trailers. they are build by the likes of Mack and Freightliner.
then there are "pickups" and those are built by the likes of Ford or Toyota.

2019-11-30 00:11:45 UTC

Chevy?

2019-11-30 00:12:00 UTC

they make pickups sure.

2019-11-30 00:12:23 UTC

basically the difference is Volvo and Chevy.

2019-11-30 00:12:33 UTC

truck is an umbrella term for me

2019-11-30 00:12:46 UTC

there are semis and pickups

2019-11-30 00:12:53 UTC

yah, I know.

2019-11-30 00:13:03 UTC

I usually call the pickups trucks

2019-11-30 00:13:09 UTC

so when i say "truck" you need to read "semi"

2019-11-30 00:13:15 UTC

:)

2019-11-30 00:13:20 UTC

lol

2019-11-30 00:13:29 UTC

that clears up a bunch

2019-11-30 00:13:32 UTC

a pickup is still just a 4 wheeler to me.

2019-11-30 00:13:37 UTC

lol

2019-11-30 00:13:43 UTC

In the UK truck = semi/box van etc. and a US truck = pickup, I think the same goes for Aus and NZ too

2019-11-30 00:14:01 UTC

hmm

2019-11-30 00:14:16 UTC

thanks for the terminology @TheRandomist

2019-11-30 00:14:36 UTC

It gets confusing, and that's without mentioning pants!

2019-11-30 00:14:46 UTC

i'm a US truck driver.

2019-11-30 00:15:11 UTC

I figured that you drove a semi

2019-11-30 00:15:23 UTC

so a "truck" is gonna be a U-haul at least.

2019-11-30 00:15:25 UTC

the whole 12'

2019-11-30 00:15:36 UTC

So a truck is a pickup, but truck drivers drive semis? 🤦‍♂️

2019-11-30 00:15:51 UTC

uhhhh..... yah i guess.

2019-11-30 00:16:00 UTC

different terminology for different people

2019-11-30 00:16:04 UTC

language doesn't always make sense.

2019-11-30 00:16:06 UTC

we aren't as united

2019-11-30 00:16:24 UTC

but we still are united by Country

2019-11-30 00:17:01 UTC

well that was a good conversation
