so when i say "truck" you need to read "semi"

In the UK truck = semi/box van etc. and a US truck = pickup, I think the same goes for Aus and NZ too

We also call semis wagons (when we're not calling them trucks), and what you call wagons we call estate cars

but thats for tolls so they don't slow down general traffic

Over here that's standard, anything towing can only use the first 2 lanes when its three or (rarely) four wide. That includes cars with trailers etc.
