Political commentator is accurate.

2019-11-19 19:07:21 UTC

Is that somehow a spiteful, being a commentator rather than a journalist?

2019-11-19 19:21:07 UTC

in other news, I think Tibs over here will get a good confirmation-bias-wank over a politician suddenly revising his own historical stances

2019-11-19 20:12:34 UTC

No its not being spiteful its being honest and Shapiro is usually well sourced and typically good at admitting wrongdoing even if I disagree with about 40% of what he has to say. Keep sucking Justice Democrat dick tho if thats what floats your boat.

2019-11-19 20:13:58 UTC

I have an incomplete blog about the iraq war

2019-11-19 21:36:18 UTC

I've been trying to condense all the various myths about it, such as the idea there were no WMD's found or the idea we killed bajillions of civilians (Saddam did), and so on and so forth, but it's not finished as sourcing everything is tiresome. But, basically the idea things got terrible worse after we invaded is, more or less not true, everything in Iraq was falling apart long before we invaded. As for WMD's, Saddam had already wiped out a city of about 40,000 with them, mostly using chemical weapons, but they also had 100,000 pounds of uranium, 9000 liters of anthrax, weaponized west nile virus among other things, and various other biological and chemical weapons, including Sarin, VX and Botox, which are among the deadliest poisons on earth and surprisingly easy to make. The simply reality is that, he was a signifigant threat and with the country destabilizing, there was a real fear these weapons would end up on the open market, such as in the hands of terrorists, of which many of them did. That's not the only reason for the war, but it's one of the main misleading comments the media to this day continues to repeat

2019-11-19 21:37:43 UTC

Like most middle eastern military's, Iraq's army used overwhelmingly soviet equipment, such as Ak-47's, PKM machine guns, and T-72 tanks, as do most terrorist groups. Contrary to the notion we armed them with soviet weapons and instilled them with Socialist ideologies, this was mainly the fault of the Russians, and to a lesser extent France and China.

Never really watched Walsh. Klavan's great. Ben is my spirit animal. And I'm really warming up to Knowles, though I can't stand when any of them start talking about religion.

2019-11-19 22:04:38 UTC

Walsh is full-steam-ahead "video games collapse societies" train, among other caveman takes. Dunno anything about klavan now that I really think about it. And yeah, you're right to cringe when religion comes up, Ben is a zealot

2019-11-19 22:04:56 UTC

Crowder, however, is funny, and comes by his positions more honestly, I feel

2019-11-19 22:07:44 UTC

I put him up near Tucker for positive conservative personalities.

2019-11-19 22:09:57 UTC

I tend to follow Bill Whittle more. He's super woke to culture stuff and turning postmodernist arguments against the left.

2019-11-19 22:10:09 UTC

haven't heard of him

2019-11-19 22:10:35 UTC

Whittle lost me when he went all Never Trump. Haven't watched him in a long time.

2019-11-19 22:11:12 UTC

I think he's kind of out-of-touch because he thinks he has the luxury of being anti-Trump.

2019-11-19 22:15:02 UTC

>thinks he has the luxury of a political position
um, yes, that's called being American

2019-11-19 22:16:18 UTC

I agree never-trump was a might silly but to imply he doesn't in fact have the freedom to have it is even more out-of-touch

2019-11-19 22:23:15 UTC

He's actually very pro-Trump and has been for a while

2019-11-19 22:25:30 UTC

@Jokerfaic Here's a good example of his work:

2019-11-19 22:25:57 UTC

sure he has the freedom to think whatever he wants, but a conservative being anti-trump is idiotic. not because trump is some perfect conservative (far, far from it), but because he's all we have and he's quite possibly the last republican president.
