I don't think those police were actually using high rated ballistic vests
It looked like level 2 kevlar tbh
i havent seen anything of it but always wrap up
they were there in minutes
If it was an actual terrorist attack then they could have been tracking the attacker which could have been why they were able to respond so fast
havent there been multiple london bridge attacks tho
like not today but over recent years

They're thick metal, or ceramic

i know some forces use ballistic face masks
There is spalling protection added onto the plates
But British police, most likely are just stab vests.
I'd imagine it's just a level 2 vest, able to stop pistols
but that just looks like a mask
Though, they do look like military vests. So maybe they are level three. Who knows
What we're seeing in the carrier, if there were plates then they would be slid into a pouch in that carrier
maybe even boss level
