It's not about researching more, it's about researching different viewpoints

2019-01-22 05:33:41 UTC

I know what raw meat advocates and the like say about veganism and most of it is just not true and can be disproved by a simple google search lol, people like s3vrige are especially bad with this

2019-01-22 05:34:04 UTC

That nutrient list you gave, a lot of those nutrients come from plants originally and are absorbed by animals (like us)

2019-01-22 05:35:03 UTC

"long chain fatty acids
iodine
iron
calcium
DHA
glucosimine
collagen
vitamin c
vitamin d3
vitamin k
magnesium
copper
potassium
zinc"

2019-01-22 05:35:45 UTC

and still, they eat plenty of fish

2019-01-22 05:36:03 UTC

Well as you can see, not really

2019-01-22 05:36:11 UTC

1% of their caloric intake was fish

2019-01-22 05:36:55 UTC

yet that 1% of fish gives them the DHS and omega 3 fatty acis thair brains and eyes crave

2019-01-22 05:37:02 UTC

while plants do not

2019-01-22 05:38:06 UTC

and while its true that all of these nutrients are in plants, their bioavalibility in the plants is extremely low

2019-01-22 05:38:16 UTC

pittifully low

2019-01-22 05:39:46 UTC

long chain fatty acids you can get from algae based supplements, which are pollutant free unlike fish oil
iodine is from the soil, which is absorbed by plants and then we eat them
iron is in legumes, nuts, seeds and grains
calcium is in legumes, nuts, seeds and greens
DHA is also from algae based supplements
collagen and glucosimine are not essential nutrients
vitamin C is from plants, especially fruit (scurvy was cured by limes, not meat)
vitamin d3 you can get from sunlight or supplements (worth taking actually because they are one of the only supplements that have actually been proven to increase lifespan)
vitamin k is from cruciferous vegetables
magnesium is in legumes, nuts, seeds, greens and other vegetables
copper and zinc are both minerals, so repeat
potassium is high in nearly all vegetables especially ones like tomatoes, legumes etc

2019-01-22 05:42:11 UTC

so your saying the same shit you said before, which is "plants contain all these nurtients" which im not disagring with at all

2019-01-22 05:42:44 UTC

what im saying is that the amount of these nutrients is small, and our bodies arent good at extracting these nutrients

2019-01-22 05:42:49 UTC

Not just that they contain these nutrients, but at high amounts

2019-01-22 05:42:49 UTC

we are not cows

2019-01-22 05:43:15 UTC

we cant eat grass and get our daily protein

2019-01-22 05:43:34 UTC

Yeah and we also don't ruminate lol idk what your point is

2019-01-22 05:43:44 UTC

last I heard cows don't eat nuts, fruits and legumes etc

2019-01-22 05:43:56 UTC

well, they can eat legumes but only if they are fed them

2019-01-22 05:44:08 UTC

the amount of nutrients we absorb from all of these plants is low, so unless you want to eat about 5 pounds of veges a day, your better of with another diet

2019-01-22 05:44:29 UTC

I don't eat that many veges, as I said most of it comes from legumes and nuts

2019-01-22 05:44:43 UTC

Which are very nutrient dense, like animal products

2019-01-22 05:44:44 UTC

if you want to eat a crazy amount of veges a day, be my guest, but RIP your anus

2019-01-22 05:45:06 UTC

they are more dense than plants yes, but arent nearly as dense as animal products

2019-01-22 05:45:44 UTC

It doesn't matter lol I can just eat a bit more

2019-01-22 05:45:47 UTC

and like i said, the acutal absorbtion is all that matters

2019-01-22 05:46:07 UTC

if steak had 100g of protein per bite

2019-01-22 05:46:21 UTC

but we only asborbed .003% of that protein

2019-01-22 05:46:51 UTC

it would not be worth eating it, you would be using more prtoein than yout gaining by eating it

2019-01-22 05:47:04 UTC

Good thing nothing contains that low protein

2019-01-22 05:47:38 UTC

Just look at that for a second

2019-01-22 05:47:51 UTC

The minerals and protein specifically

2019-01-22 05:48:14 UTC

jesus christ dude

2019-01-22 05:48:21 UTC

ive told you like 5 times now

2019-01-22 05:48:25 UTC

I know that it's not absorbed at 100% rate

2019-01-22 05:48:29 UTC

Don't say it again lol

2019-01-22 05:49:02 UTC

jsut becsue a peice of food has 40% vitamin A per serving, doesnt mean you asorb that 40%

2019-01-22 05:49:25 UTC

its a great lie we have been told with nutritional facts and information

2019-01-22 05:49:38 UTC

expecially with the labels on the back of our food
