Just commenting from a position of extreme amusement, because I kept hearing how it's supposed to be a scathing condemnation of capitalism gone rogue, and yet.... the Halcyon colonies seem to apply little or none of the core tenets of capitalism. Instead, they seem to be run under a socialist regime that just changed the labels on its dogma, but not the dogma itself.

Hey guys, I am planning a pc upgrade, but I don't know if I should keep my current cpu which is a i7 4770s or keep it

Check ram compatibility, iirc 4k was the first gen with ddr4 support and required ddr3L. So long as it has ddr4 support and you can find mobos with sufficient memory controller quality, I would honestly say it's probably fine.
Depends on what you do/play on the pc.

If the games / stuff you do is typically CPU bound then upgrading the CPU is a good idea, otherwise the GPU will probably get you a lot more of a mileage boost

@Space Force You're in a rough spot for upgrading because to get a new processor you will also have to get a new mobo and ram, but purchasing a GPU significantly better than the 1060 would also cost a bit much and still be hindered by the old CPU. I'd say go for the new mobo plus ram plus CPU. It will still leave a good upgrade path in the future for the GPU.
