serious - i was just dropping some passing comment on something that seemed vaguely somewhat interesting.
no patience for your particular brand of autism tonight.
👋🏿
and this is where you committed suicide
you angry, nigh-braindead child
You still failed utterly to address my objection in any meaningful fashion. You confuse definitions of the term "inspiration" and juvenilely attribute creativity to theism.
I speak as a theist, we do not have the monopoly on this pattern of thinking, and it isn't even divinely inspired to run hypotheticals in our heads.
I don't need to "jump in the middle" of you "assurting" things falsely -- that *is* what you are saying. And you're taking long pauses to elaborate on what you have *already* said.
Get good, or go home. You've chosen go home.
So *now* I'm telling you, I wasn't telling you before (which *is* a misrepresentation of my earlier conduct). *Now* I say piss off. At this rate you'll make yourself the next Dotty.

If it weren't for that last paragraph, ducc could *almost* claim the high ground. But he screwed it.
Shut up, Jury

Not atheist religion but atheist *religions* there are more than one. Scientologists are atheist (Xenu is an alien not a god). Many Buddhists do not. Beyond that I would agree with Shermer's categorization of stealth religions.
Id agree with boomer's sentiment here, its perfectly possible to be an atheist and also adhere to a religion( hell, id argue you can be, for example, a functional Christian priest and also a closeted atheist) . vice versa, its possible to believe in a god (or gods) and not be part of a religion.
Religion is weird like that
But hey, Pagans VS. Christians is entertaining as all hell, especially when you throw atheists in the mix
The discussion where I *agreed with you* that posting vids instead of making an argument is a shit tactic?
@Αγωνιζῆς An atheist can participate in religious rituals/symbolism, but cannot be religious.
why not though?, there are religions that do not feature gods and even if they do, not believing in them does not exclude one from supporting the religion or being a religious person in that capacity
All religions have a god
It doesn't always go by the name of "God", but the meaning of their god is practically the same
`All religions have a god `
since there are religions that do not have or need gods I'd say that that statement is wrong
`It doesn't always go by the name of "God", but the meaning of their god is practically the same`
then we disagree on what a 'god' is😄
Chad Agnosticism
Religions by definition have a god or gods
And this is exactly why this nonsense started that "atheists can be religious", no they can't
Atheism is the religion of unbelief
Because one day complete morons started entering the theist/atheist debate, they muddied the waters about what "god" is, and then boom you have people claiming atheist religions exist
Ironically (contrary to what whiic claimed) I'm the guy who's arguing in favor of "fewer genders" so to speak.
Atheist religions are a paradox, it's contradictory
It only means that religious atheists are confused, they don't understand their own ideas
For example, the Greek gods, the Roman gods, or the Hindu gods
Those are not all-powerful, or all-good, or all-knowing, or all-present
