Those are important values; a lot of religious values are in line with conservative ways of thought. You two growing closer together is important, but it's also important for you to grow closer together with God. When I met him we talked about abortion and originally I was pro choice only because I knew a lot of women that get abortions are in poverty, so I thought they may as well have one as to not bring the child up in it.
