@Deleted User I wanted to comment more in depth on what you said in the biblical questions. Do you wonder, since women came from the men's ribs and that protects the heart, is the reason women are more emotional? I understand that it's not literally the heart where emotions come from but it's an interesting observation there. Not to mention it was believed that it did come from the heart in old times.

Also the "happy wife, happy life" saying. I don't agree with the way its used these days either, but I have another way of interpreting the saying which makes it more acceptable and applicable

I think since women are more emotional naturally it falls onto one of the husbands responsibilities to try to understand her feelings. Whenever they're understood, she's happy, and when the wife is happy she's likely to hold to her wifely responsibilities as well.

@Szayel's Pooppion Metaphorically speaking, yes. The woman is the counter-balance of man. A real man keeps the emotions of a woman in check and a woman provides love and emotion to a man when needed. The happiness from a wife should come from her lack of anger and from God within her. A husband should understand his wife's feelings but it is her responsibility to keep it in check as well.
