What I am saying is that there are multiple religions on this planet. If people didn't insert themselves in it and had to make up their own thing in derivations according to their culture, environment, etc. There would be homogeneity. And this world would have been right from the start.
i degree
anyway, every religion has two levels. one is agnostic and the other gnostic.
I see what you’re saying
I have faith that god knew that would happen
And i think what’s important is that we worship him
in ancient Sanskrit, the word for knowledge is Jnani. pronounced gyanee. same root word as Kn ow
the agnostic level of religion can be joined in socially or culturally, that's fine and probably good enough.
Not fight over differences of religion, particularly on those that are following identical beliefs, traditions, morals
So, for me, I go according to the oldest text: Christianity / Judiasm.
for some folks, they get bored with just saying they are a buddhist/christian/muslim/etc without knowing why.
Jesse says time is an illusion
don't go for texts, go for the ideas.
I go Christianity too, but I won’t fight over the major religions
Yes the ideas
Agnostics - by definition would challenge a theist and an atheist. It doesn't mean they are right with God.
or go for the texts thats fine.
That’s what drew me in the first place
agnostic means not knowing. gnosis, jnani
agnosis is like un-knowledge
But ideas that pass through your mind may not be true.
@J_G_ Agreed
I used to be agnostic
But then
I started knowing that god exists
So I couldn’t say I was agnostic anymore
And then I just called myself spiritual
And I studied different things
the mind of man is like the mind of God, but just a tiny little window, but God has all the windows of all beings to look through i reckon.
And saw my beliefs and heart was mirrored in Christianity, so I chose this
But before I found that, I learned a lot from a Hindu friend. And to this day we share similar values & beliefs
Christ is Lord to lead the flock back to the Father.
So I know we are still on the right path to god
Lord is like leading and guiding, not bullying and oppressing in my opinion. but the Lord will punish for the good of the Flock.
My brother is a Hindu and I asked him the same question: If you worship Krishna and have all of these peaceful values, why not just do Christianity? He got flustered.
God is always with you, just to walk with him is the path.
But why do you feel the need to force that?
walking against God causes all sorts of pain and turbulence in my experience
Why do you feel the need to convert?
