The liberal agenda is rampant at most schools. Probably alluding to that.

2018-10-12 02:15:09 UTC

Yes for that reason it’s messed up

2018-10-13 03:21:25 UTC

Anything more than that? My college seems okay, I don't think there is any reason for me to stop taking classes.

2018-10-13 06:10:15 UTC

Depends on what your studying

2018-10-13 06:11:06 UTC

If your studying something that humans will always have a need for such an engineers, chemists, and programmers, you will be fine

2018-10-13 06:11:58 UTC

If your studying something like history, which is fascinating, but has no real jobs in that feild, your setting yourself up for failure

2018-10-13 06:12:55 UTC

Trades are in demand as well as there is always a need for plumbers and electricians, as every building and house needs water and power

2018-10-13 06:13:31 UTC

But if you end up a warehouse worker, your are easily replaceable

2018-10-13 06:14:18 UTC

So do a degree that is in high demand, like computer science, or do an in demand trade like plumbing, and you'll have a good life

2018-10-13 06:15:21 UTC

But if you spend 4 years of time and money on an "African American studies" degree and end up working at the mall, your gonna have a miserable life

2018-10-13 06:16:45 UTC

And end up screaming for socialism in America so the people who didn't fuck up and are successful can pay for your worthless self to live.

2018-10-13 09:11:20 UTC

Trade School/Apprenticeship > College.

2018-10-13 11:53:33 UTC

Question for Jesse, do you think Kanye West is a conservative? Other than his support for president Trump, if so how?

2018-10-13 14:36:58 UTC

And my second question, why is it that the left doesn't believe in prayer but they believe in magic spells?

2018-10-13 17:13:30 UTC

^ LOL

2018-10-13 17:13:43 UTC

There are good careers to be made out of college as well

2018-10-13 17:14:19 UTC

Stay away from liberal or gender studies, art or English degrees bc that seems so unrealistic to me and no where to apply that in getting a job

2018-10-13 17:51:30 UTC

I agree, college has its place. But that place shouldn't be anywhere near as broad as it is right now. No real trade school/apprenticeship for Engineers and other sciences. Also it should be privatized, no federal input.

2018-10-13 17:57:46 UTC

It should be hard to get in too, only for the smart folks. Everyone else should just learn a trade, or run a business that promotes economic growth for the nation. and if you are really low on the IQ totem pole, everyone needs laborers.

2018-10-13 19:01:20 UTC

What was that acronym?

2018-10-13 19:01:32 UTC

Like science health engineering or something like that

2018-10-13 19:02:23 UTC

You mean Stem ?

2018-10-13 19:02:34 UTC

science technology engineering mathematics

2018-10-13 19:02:35 UTC

Science tech engineering medical?

2018-10-13 19:02:37 UTC

Math

2018-10-13 19:02:38 UTC

That's right

2018-10-13 19:02:44 UTC

Always trips me up

2018-10-13 19:03:05 UTC

At same time I'm kinda like..
Medical should be there

2018-10-13 19:03:20 UTC

True

2018-10-13 19:03:37 UTC

I guess it'd be covered by the science aspect

2018-10-13 19:04:07 UTC

I dont know why my brain didnt put that in same category

2018-10-13 19:04:56 UTC

There's a more social aspect to medicine compared to other sciences

2018-10-13 19:05:11 UTC

I guess that makes it different from things like chemistry or physics

2018-10-13 19:08:42 UTC

That's probably it. Not like a chemist talks to as many clients as a general practitioner.

2018-10-13 19:08:56 UTC

Unless that chemist is in the meth industry...

2018-10-13 19:09:15 UTC

Lmao

2018-10-13 19:09:55 UTC

I also just realized that a rocket engineer is all the things in STEM

2018-10-13 19:10:18 UTC

I was gonna make another comedic observation but it doesnt work. *sad panda*

2018-10-13 19:10:50 UTC

Stem actually stands for

2018-10-13 19:11:04 UTC

S - sociology

2018-10-13 19:11:20 UTC

T - theatre
