So?
We should
You’ve not provided justification though?
Self Defence
Our violent crime rate is so low, we don’t need to.
Do you need a justification for free speech
You should still be given a right to defend yourself
Have you ever shot a firearm?
Depends @AMERIJESUS
You do @The Electric Lizard
Already.
The right to defend yourself, your family, and resist tyranny should not be infringed
We already have that.
Uk get the second amendment and police by consent is dead
Just because crime is low doesn't mean that we should just ensure no one should be given the right the bear arms for defence
There’s no need for them though?
So why would we have them?
yeah there is
For fun
You can still do that @Hopix
Crime does still exist and said Crime could be a threat to someone and that person should have the ability to buy a firearm to defend themself
Acid attacks 0_0
But our violent crime rate is so low and murder rate is so low, the chances of that happening are tiny.
Your actions will actually increase the murder rate.
I’ll pull out my trusty flashlight that’ll show those acid throwing domestic terrorists
Wish I could own some guns just for a laugh
Join a shooting club @Hopix
That’s what I’ve done.
Then you can do just that.
@Nathan James 123 The murder rate increasing isn't exactly a bad thing if it is increasing due to people defending themselves from crime
I'm reasonably content with being unarmed in this country, though I think the benefit of doubt needs to be given to people defending their home/property in a much bigger way
That just means that people are effectively using their right to bear arms
Crime which is occurring thanks to your policy? @The Electric Lizard
Yeah, that’s a problem.
Crime wouldn't increase much
If you're a burglar, you shouldn't be entitled to demand "proportionate force"
Murder = / = deaths from self defense
Sorry, I’ll rephrase
Our death rate ^*
Which includes manslaughter and murder, etc.
At the moment Britain needs better policing than the right to bear arms
