I believe when it envelopes into Anxiety then it would be a sin. I used to struggle with Anxiety until I learned to cope.
Me too. I had crippling anxiety
@Szayel's Pooppion @Officer_Caleb so how is anxiety a sin?
I don't know for sure that it is
Because instead of Leaning on God for understanding you are leaning on your own. If you worry too much to the point when it controls you then your aren’t placing faith in God but yourself.
but I think anxiety is probably a side effect of being in a fallen state, since like I said, we're not supposed to be worrying excessively of the future
Thats true sir
the last part esp stuck out
I can’t say that Worry is directly a sin as in we see it in the 10 Commandments but I do believe that God has given us instruction not to.
@Szayel's Pooppion @Officer_Caleb Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Here are mine:
Worrying is human. It can show love and concern for the person or thing you are thinking about. It can get out of hand if you add in 'coulda-shoulda-woulda' to the equation - this develops fear. Fear is the by product of Satan. Anxiety is excessive worry = fear.
Fear brings upon isolation from God. To @Officer_Caleb 's point, you end up leaning into your own understanding instead of letting go and letting God.
A little worrying doesn't hurt but events tend to happen when they are out of our control. Just silently pray, let the worries pass through, and let them go.
I love throwing out questions to make people think a bit and love learning from others. Thanks for participating, fam!
Thank you, as well! @Deleted User I appreciate the challenge of explaining my beliefs and glad we all can have actually productive conversation.
@Deleted User Thanks for sharing yours too. Very profound & agreed. Anxiety is certainly in the same spirit as fear which we know is from Papi satan's toolbox
Here is another question: is there such a thing an an alpha or beta female?
Excellent question. Not sure to be honest.
Yes
I think the same rule applies for women. Alpha females still come below alpha males still ofc
I guess you can take my mother as an Example of an 'Alpha Female', she is pretty quite most of the time but she is very opinionated and is like a steam roller when she has to be. There have been many instances when people don't like that just like Alpha Males.
Oh that sounds like me <:GWmythicalThonkCool:367331557100224522>
Hm
I think that women who are "alpha" are typically just bossy. Lol i think women and men should inspire and lead the same way: by example and from the front of the ranks. Let everyone see you, your work ethic and and your "goodness" (for lack of better term) and dont be ashamed of it. If you lead a good life and are successful because of it (you usually will be in my experience :3) it wont matter if youre a dude or not. People emulate success (after they hate it typically...looking at you mainly females). When i go out i make it conscious decision that i will be what other people wanna be. Kind, firm and fair. I think that because we lack the expectation of strong male leaders anymore in the USA that either gender can have this. For better or worse that, im not sure yet.
Most don’t like me or my opinions as well lol
Hm idk about bossy
For alpha females. That might just be a bitch
I also think i heard on old jre with gavin mcinness that women who are "boss bitches" tend to have more testosterone and are more aggressive. Ill try and see if i can find info again
And no
Being a bitch and leading are 2 way different things
Leadership shouldnt be about telling others what to do. It should be leading by example and setting the stabdard to aspire to.
I don’t think an alpha females is necessarily bossy....
Exactly
Bossy is not leading by example it’s telling others what to do
And i find that "alpha" females dont do this
Which is a bitch
I havent found a "REAL" alpha female in the terms that i expect an alpha to behave.
MAYBE my last LT in the marines. MAYBE.
And MAYBE ann coulter.
I’ve met plenty of bossy women & I would not call them alphas. That’s more like a beta female or just a typical woman
Hahaha
Well exactly but it is all defined by those around them ya know. I dont like being told what to do by anyone if it makes no sense. I think alpha females exist but that the emotionless rational leader we expext from men are EXTREMELY RARE amongst modern woman.
I’ve stepped out of line and been a bitch before myself but I blame women for that. Sometimes they draw the worst from you. Lol
