@J_G_ yeah I’ve been doing that and I definitely have noticed a change. It’s still a constant battle tho. I didn’t think about the whole military aspects of getting into a relationship. Thanks for the advise

some churches may require you to have a seminary degree, many do not

if God calls you to be a pastor, you will find people to shepherd

you will start in your living room, home church

Bottom line, it's true that degrees aren't what makes someone a pastor, a real pastor has a calling from God, and may or may not have a degree or be led to get a degree

I think it’s more of an accomplishment to gather wisdom through life and be called by God than to study for years and years. The truth is anyone who really wants to can study

Could be, but we are all members of one body, I don't think all scholarship is bad, God has people getting scholarly degrees as well, but those degrees aren't what makes us a pastor
