Jesse helped me get rid of my anger toward them now I have to drop it in every other area

I think I came a long way with it tho since July of when I first started watching

I noticed that sometimes, though not all the time like it used to be, that I can get angry if someone is angry at me or having a negative reaction. Happened with my mom

She started on me and was yelling as soon as I came in from that day we had a snow storm & I told her she doesn’t have a right to be having an attitude like that, she doesn’t work or go to school

That’s what gets me sometimes

People like that being angry and having attitudes when I’m the one dealing with stuff but on my own, I don’t have an attitude about it

But seeing them like that will trigger a feeling in me

you’ve come a good long way in only a few months - as long as you don’t repeat their behavior back towards them, it might be ok to feel a certain way but I can relate

But that’s what I mean, I did get caught up in arguing with her and returning the tone

But towards the end of it I let it go and went back down

She was mad bc she overheard me having a conversation, probably with my cousin and what I said offended her

So I told her I apologize that she had to hear that, I wasn’t planning on her overhearing

And then it deescalated pretty much

Although she still was getting smart towards the end I let it go

Yeah, what makes you better is that you recognize and realize it... maybe before you would just act that way and not even realize it

& I told her that I apologize but on the other hand it’s not right for her to unleash her anger on me over what I said bc I’m entitled to have my opinions & that her anger isn’t justified. She said it was justified so I was just like okay

Right, I gotta get to that point eventually lol

Although during the argument I did remember Jesse say just watch them freak out & be like oh wow they’re dying lol

She doesnt realize its not ok and you do which is big difference

She was also telling me how I have so many issues to have said such a thing & I need to get more therapy, I need to meet with my therapist more ( see her bi weekly) & I’m just thinking... pffft 0Ooof

I'm hoping that having a Fan Submissions channel will encourage folks to try their hand at making JLP videos and music.

Honestly if I had all the time in the world in my hands like as a teen I would have made a vid lol

Nothing a therapist can tell you that you cant get from reading the bible or praying but at the same time, its good to talk to a neutral person so I dont knock it at all
