The thing is if you give them special exemptions then you have to give other religions their special exemptions you know that right
@Lucienne d'Anwyl They can have a religious reason, that's fine, but the reason for the law must be justified through secular means.
Like no interest for Muslims etc
@Storin Exactly
Essentially still creating a two tier system
Next you'll have the Martyr Epstein religion and MAPS will be touchin kids and you can't say shit.
Is that what you want @Lucienne d'Anwyl Huh? IS IT?
IS IT?!!!?
_picks @Lucienne d'Anwyl up and shakes her_
its the natural result of throwing away the original culture
> why must laws be based on anything? i mean theyre justified in secularization
It's one thing to say that the cultural and legal traditions are based in Judeo-Christianity. But then, it's more of a case that those things are part of the religion cuz they're true, rather than they're true cuz they're part of the religion. Many Jews and Christians think the latter, which is false.
I think they should be taxed (Except charity money) and the Muslims should pay interest like everyone else tbh
and refusiing to assimilate
there shouldnt *be* muslims anyway
Religion is supposed to be a personal affair, if it has houses and shit then that stuff needs to be held to the same rules
@Lucienne d'Anwyl Well there ARE
So your argument is irrelevant.
due to failures
in policy
No, it's working as intended.
hence the modern degradation of society
I'm happy to have Muslims in if they can assimilate and some do, not all.
> failure breeds more failure
> hence the modern degradation of society
Lobster Rule #1
muslims following islam by definition
don assimilate
@Lucienne d'Anwyl Neither do christians
Islam needs a Protestant reformation
Like I said if we can meet up in a field (usually solstice and sometimes Equinox) and have drinks and pray these fuckers don't need a church <:pot_of_kek:544849795433496586>
you dont think religion is integrally a part of culture?
@Lucienne d'Anwyl Religions adapt
They don't remain around for thousands of years because they fail to do so.
THey will do so again and people are doing so now.
considering the protestants were more zealous than the catholics
thats probably a bad idea
Religion is socially-approved cult behavior. Spirituality, otoh, is a very personal thing.
protestants wanted to follow the bible and only the bible
the koran is a shitfest
There is no objective interpretation of these holy books, they LITERALLY just make up what they feel is right.
Dude Utah is gonna love me when I visit next year <:SmugPepe:510408646807519233>
