but the people that make them

2019-11-14 03:47:28 UTC

@Marushia Dark Okay? I don't think I said otherwise.

2019-11-14 03:47:28 UTC

do as according to their beliefs

2019-11-14 03:47:41 UTC

which in large part are molded by religion

2019-11-14 03:47:51 UTC

The thing is if you give them special exemptions then you have to give other religions their special exemptions you know that right

2019-11-14 03:47:58 UTC

@Lucienne d'Anwyl They can have a religious reason, that's fine, but the reason for the law must be justified through secular means.

2019-11-14 03:47:58 UTC

Like no interest for Muslims etc

2019-11-14 03:48:06 UTC

@Storin Exactly

2019-11-14 03:48:10 UTC

Essentially still creating a two tier system

2019-11-14 03:48:24 UTC

Next you'll have the Martyr Epstein religion and MAPS will be touchin kids and you can't say shit.

2019-11-14 03:48:32 UTC

Is that what you want @Lucienne d'Anwyl Huh? IS IT?

2019-11-14 03:48:34 UTC

IS IT?!!!?

2019-11-14 03:48:41 UTC

_picks @Lucienne d'Anwyl up and shakes her_

2019-11-14 03:48:44 UTC

its the natural result of throwing away the original culture

2019-11-14 03:48:49 UTC

> why must laws be based on anything? i mean theyre justified in secularization

It's one thing to say that the cultural and legal traditions are based in Judeo-Christianity. But then, it's more of a case that those things are part of the religion cuz they're true, rather than they're true cuz they're part of the religion. Many Jews and Christians think the latter, which is false.

2019-11-14 03:48:51 UTC

I think they should be taxed (Except charity money) and the Muslims should pay interest like everyone else tbh

2019-11-14 03:48:52 UTC

and refusiing to assimilate

2019-11-14 03:49:10 UTC

there shouldnt *be* muslims anyway

2019-11-14 03:49:18 UTC

Religion is supposed to be a personal affair, if it has houses and shit then that stuff needs to be held to the same rules

2019-11-14 03:49:18 UTC

@Lucienne d'Anwyl Well there ARE

2019-11-14 03:49:24 UTC

So your argument is irrelevant.

2019-11-14 03:49:26 UTC

due to failures

2019-11-14 03:49:28 UTC

in policy

2019-11-14 03:49:35 UTC

No, it's working as intended.

2019-11-14 03:49:35 UTC

failure breeds more failure

2019-11-14 03:49:46 UTC

hence the modern degradation of society

2019-11-14 03:49:47 UTC

I'm happy to have Muslims in if they can assimilate and some do, not all.

Lobster Rule #1

2019-11-14 03:50:04 UTC

muslims following islam by definition

2019-11-14 03:50:09 UTC

don assimilate

2019-11-14 03:50:21 UTC

@Lucienne d'Anwyl Neither do christians

2019-11-14 03:50:22 UTC

Islam needs a Protestant reformation

2019-11-14 03:50:23 UTC

Like I said if we can meet up in a field (usually solstice and sometimes Equinox) and have drinks and pray these fuckers don't need a church <:pot_of_kek:544849795433496586>

2019-11-14 03:50:26 UTC

you dont think religion is integrally a part of culture?

2019-11-14 03:50:40 UTC

@Lucienne d'Anwyl Religions adapt

2019-11-14 03:50:48 UTC

They don't remain around for thousands of years because they fail to do so.

2019-11-14 03:50:55 UTC

THey will do so again and people are doing so now.

2019-11-14 03:50:58 UTC

considering the protestants were more zealous than the catholics

2019-11-14 03:51:06 UTC

thats probably a bad idea

2019-11-14 03:51:22 UTC

Religion is socially-approved cult behavior. Spirituality, otoh, is a very personal thing.
