I want to beat them in their own game!

Yeah nah, the idea of creating a utopia is for kids
They are kids!
At least, they act like ones.
Does the conflict in Yemen remind anyone of the Vietnam war?
The Saudi Arabian army's use of their equipment in this conflict eerily reminds me of how the Saigon regime dealt with their US Aid.
The Houthis seem to be adapting similar guerrilla tactics that the Viet Cong did minus all the trees and forests of course.
Well people learn, so why are you even surprised?
I'm dam sure there were enough smart guys among the Houthis to read and understand about the previous US failures and learn from them.
God, I hope Trump has done his part on reading Johnson's foreign policy
I really hope they don't get involved in Yemen, thou.
It would end far worse than Afghanistan or Iraq.
The terrain is very heavy and the natives are zealous.
They would have something they have never seen since Vietnam.
Well the whole situation in the Gulf is just a Tonkin-like resolution away from escalating into a destructive conflict
Plus, I can't fathom the utter destruction it may cause to global economy
I think China and Russia will be very happy with it, but if the US seriously goes to war it would come to 2, not 1 front and even they can't handle it.
Also this war would pile up the already worsening immigrant and refugee crisis.
May be even Syria will enter.
To a point it just breaks and it's all out chaos. Imagine all the Yemenis, Iranians and Saudis adding to the Syrian refugees.
The West will pass it's breaking point, seeing the troubles the current immigrants are already causing. I doubt even the Left manages to keep their sanity with that whopping number of displaced people from that conflict.
And countries like Turkey and Qatar are just going to add in on the fire.
I'm sure they would love to play both sides and emerge as the biggest victorers here.
Actually, the conflict might end up in the creation o entire new states and the complete redraw of the maps in the near East.
And it would certainly **not** benefit America.
Sweet karma for Iran I guess, it all comes back to that CIA backed coup all those years ago that removed a democratic president in favour of the Shah. All that sabre rattlers waiting for war against Iran seem to forget that it was the Western intervention in the coup that toppled President Mossadegh that eventually led to the Islamic Revolution and overthrow of their installed leader, the Shah.
@Sleepy_Fox I wonder how those two are still alive and free in China?
Or may be their days are running out?
@yordanyordanov What's going on with Turkey tho? It seems to acting pretty rogue as a NATO member recently.
Turkey is already NATO in paper only.
Erdogan slaughtered the military and took charge of the country single-handedly.
The recent talks with Russia regarding the Su 57 fighter jets makes the status even more tenuous as it already was.
Did you guys in the West did not know that?
Erdogan plans to create a neo Ottoman empire or something now?
No one really knows, not even the Turks, but he is now one step away from proclaiming himself a sultan and the worst part is that Putin has his back.
To the dismal of both the Turkish and the Russian peoples.
All the while it's even more uncertain times in Israel, Netenyahu's government is in grave danger of losing their majority. I wonder what Israel's future political influence will be now.
Reality is no one around here, I mean the Balkans, really knows how that thing happened because we all were used to knowing that Russia is our greatest ally and Turkey-our greatest enemy, and now things are out of control.
I even heard some Greeks (let me remind you that Greece and Serbia are like-ultra Russian) talk shit about Russia nowadays.
