People go to private practices and/or foreign nations and get their proper healthcare there, e.g. dental work

2019-09-16 21:52:26 UTC

Those numbers don't show up on the "medicare for all" shit

2019-09-16 21:52:42 UTC

@Tiberius

Look into concierge. It's pretty cheap then you just need major medical.

2019-09-16 21:53:00 UTC

Single payer numbers are mostly camouflaging the shit reality

2019-09-16 21:53:28 UTC

I have blue cross blue shield I am largely good my man

2019-09-16 21:53:35 UTC

Part of why it is higher is because I am obese

2019-09-16 21:53:58 UTC

Costs me an extra 550$ a year to be overweight

2019-09-16 21:54:21 UTC

But im okay with that because it costs ME 550$ to be overweight not everyone else.

2019-09-16 21:54:45 UTC

implying if someone's poor enough to need medicare they can afford to just up and go to another fucking country for any fucking reason, let alone medical care

2019-09-16 21:55:34 UTC

Concierge is kinda awesome. You pay a flat monthly for a group of doctors. They have specialist, do house calls, etc. Not too pricey either because no middle man.

2019-09-16 21:55:37 UTC

sounds more like a god damn pilgrimage

2019-09-16 21:57:05 UTC

@Jokerfaic that's *exactly* what my mom used to do with us, and she was poor

2019-09-16 21:57:37 UTC

Travelled to Hungary, which is right next to Austria, so we could get cheaper dental care, which then doesn't show up both in expenses and treatment in the Austrian system

2019-09-16 21:57:44 UTC

We're still doing that

2019-09-16 21:58:20 UTC

>Austrian

2019-09-16 21:58:21 UTC

oh well if its right fucking next door that might make it cheaper

2019-09-16 21:58:36 UTC

Mexico is pretty next door

2019-09-16 21:58:37 UTC

No it was cheaper because it's fucking Hungary, which is its own shithole

2019-09-16 21:58:43 UTC

Panama isnt much further

2019-09-16 21:58:45 UTC

Or go to canada

2019-09-16 21:58:48 UTC

So is canada

2019-09-16 21:58:55 UTC

Yet there's pretty large costs to get to those places @Tiberius

2019-09-16 21:58:59 UTC

What if u live in like kansas

2019-09-16 21:59:00 UTC

Costs most people cannot cover.

2019-09-16 21:59:11 UTC

I feel like you dont travel much weez

2019-09-16 21:59:19 UTC

Travelling is literally my job

2019-09-16 21:59:24 UTC

Travelling is not that expensive if you do it right

2019-09-16 21:59:35 UTC

It mostly takes time out of your schedule

2019-09-16 21:59:41 UTC

I feel like you don't realise how little money average households have.

2019-09-16 21:59:50 UTC

In the UK perhaps

2019-09-16 21:59:54 UTC

depends where

"In other words, 55% of Americans are living paycheck-to-paycheck"

2019-09-16 22:00:08 UTC

I've lived in a poor household, I know how tough things can be

2019-09-16 22:00:15 UTC

I know many little tricks people do to get by

2019-09-16 22:00:25 UTC

Avg income in the us per household is 59k

2019-09-16 22:00:29 UTC

That is how much I make

2019-09-16 22:00:35 UTC

Fuck outtahere

2019-09-16 22:00:51 UTC
