Im not necessarily making medical school a on year trade schtick

2019-09-17 15:46:09 UTC

More just removing the bachelors degree requirement or reducing it

2019-09-17 15:47:58 UTC

Lowering the requirements to entry, generally lowers the end product.

2019-09-17 15:48:02 UTC

IE, shittier doctors.

2019-09-17 15:52:02 UTC

unless the current bar height is superfluous

2019-09-17 15:52:09 UTC

That is and is not correct

2019-09-17 15:53:49 UTC

Medical schools difficulty should remain the same no one has advocated differently, I am saying a piece of paper thats says you can get through four years of superficial "education" shouldnt be a requirement to get into medical school.

2019-09-17 15:54:20 UTC

Have an entrance exam that would require a fair amount of knowledge to pass, should they pass put them through the same hell we already do.

2019-09-17 15:54:24 UTC

gotta mitigate the effect of diminishing returns

2019-09-17 15:55:17 UTC

Most colleges look at your SAT scores, simply have an SAT type test tailored to the medical field

2019-09-17 15:56:14 UTC

that sounds inflexible

2019-09-17 15:59:01 UTC

though not negatively

2019-09-17 16:02:48 UTC

China has a single payer system, yet they also have 70 million uninsured.

2019-09-17 16:03:37 UTC

The miracles of socialism (:

2019-09-17 16:04:12 UTC

GMAT for grad school. And I wasn't suggesting medical trade school rather something more like a typical STEM program where your training begins first week first semester.

2019-09-17 16:04:36 UTC

China is also a stratified communist state that actively penalizes citizenry for dissent. Its not surprising the government would withhold services in China

2019-09-17 16:05:39 UTC

I don't think it is an accident that those uninsured folk are in areas which are prone to dissent.

2019-09-17 16:06:16 UTC

exactly. our government doesn't....... well fuck I was going to finish that sentence but I remembered Israel exists

2019-09-17 16:06:37 UTC

just like it is no accident that those of us who are prone to dissent are quieted on "public" platforms.

2019-09-17 16:07:48 UTC

China isn't communist. @Jokerfaic

2019-09-17 16:07:58 UTC

?

2019-09-17 16:08:04 UTC

websites are still for the most part private property, however congress has been open and brazen in its attempts to actively withold services or deals from organizations or individuals who boycott Israel

2019-09-17 16:08:11 UTC

There's a troll in every channel

2019-09-17 16:08:19 UTC

They're Socialist.

2019-09-17 16:08:23 UTC

In practice and theory.

2019-09-17 16:08:34 UTC

well fine if you want to split hairs, they're a stratified socialist state with a communist ruling party, there

2019-09-17 16:08:43 UTC

Socialism is a matter of economics. Communism is a total societal thing. We're not comparing the same things.

2019-09-17 16:10:10 UTC

Iran attacking the Saudis is a possibility, but I'm 90% sure Iran wasn't responsible.

2019-09-17 16:10:18 UTC

fine and well, its still splitting hairs

2019-09-17 16:11:06 UTC

Who do we think it is ?

2019-09-17 16:11:10 UTC

Do we know?

2019-09-17 16:11:24 UTC

Ik Yemen rebel’s claimed responsibility

2019-09-17 16:11:25 UTC

Personally, I think it was an internal strike.

2019-09-17 16:11:31 UTC

Iran has been surrounding Saudi Arabia since the 1980s by way of infiltrating areas, and providing weapons, strategies, and cash. Even if they didn't do it, they supplied the means to carry out the attack.

2019-09-17 16:11:32 UTC

Saudis doing it.

2019-09-17 16:12:51 UTC

It isn't in the Saudi's interest to do it. The repairs to infrastructure far exceed the upward movement in oil prices.

2019-09-17 16:13:17 UTC

It is in the Saudis interest because of the casus belli against Iran

2019-09-17 16:13:58 UTC

I know where you're going, but it doesn't make financial sense. I lived in Bahrain for 3 years, and trust me, I don't trust Saudis. They're professional speakers from both sides of their mouths.

2019-09-17 16:14:07 UTC

*I'm not sure about this* but it could provide the Saudis internal justification to do something domestically
