When the areas that voted most heavily for leave

2019-10-08 11:54:45 UTC

We know.

2019-10-08 11:54:58 UTC

had low levels of immigration

2019-10-08 11:55:11 UTC

>Birmingham

2019-10-08 11:55:12 UTC

Its almost as if they didn't actually know what they were voting for or why

2019-10-08 11:55:15 UTC

>Low levels of immigration

2019-10-08 11:55:16 UTC

<:WaitWhatArmy:590858815189024778>

2019-10-08 11:55:17 UTC

Yea

2019-10-08 11:55:18 UTC

one

2019-10-08 11:55:25 UTC

Yeah, I can tell you they have high levels of immigration mate

2019-10-08 11:55:29 UTC

I live there

2019-10-08 11:55:46 UTC

🙂

2019-10-08 11:55:56 UTC

Might be because lower immigration areas will have had more natives

2019-10-08 11:56:03 UTC

Which would be less inclined to like the EU

2019-10-08 11:56:18 UTC

Of course immigrants are gonna support immigration

2019-10-08 11:56:25 UTC

And I'm talking about those who could vote

2019-10-08 11:56:30 UTC

Not the ones who couldn't

2019-10-08 11:56:59 UTC

I mean for example why do you think labour want to opne the borders and allow every resident to vote in a GE?

2019-10-08 11:57:07 UTC

For support

2019-10-08 11:58:00 UTC

I can tell you, the differences between the 2011 consensus and 2019 reality are very different @PureEvilPie

2019-10-08 11:58:28 UTC

You know.
If the referendum result is rejected.
That it shows that 17.4 million votes can be flushed down the toilet on the wishes of the political class.
It destroys any legitimacy in the act of casting a vote if it can just simply be rejected out of hand.

2019-10-08 11:58:38 UTC

Well you can base your opinions on your personal anecdotes, I'll stick with the facts Nathan 🙂

2019-10-08 11:58:41 UTC

It would be like saying "Areas with high populations of bankers voted to keep taxes low for bankers, I mean if the areas with bankers are fine with it then I guess the other don't know what they're talking about"

2019-10-08 11:59:23 UTC

Personal anecdotes which I live through daily, have lived through for the last 20 years and are more up to date than a consensus from 2011, sure.

2019-10-08 11:59:25 UTC

>2011

2019-10-08 11:59:28 UTC

PEP, when brexiteers want to "join the US" its in a trade deal... not a union with its own parliament, national anthem, flag and courts

2019-10-08 11:59:29 UTC

>Horrifically out of date

2019-10-08 11:59:41 UTC

Yea no shit birmingham has high immigration

2019-10-08 11:59:48 UTC

But birmingham isnt the only place that voted leave

2019-10-08 11:59:48 UTC

2020 census is gonna be fun

2019-10-08 11:59:52 UTC

Its not that complex

2019-10-08 11:59:55 UTC

As does the areas around Birmingham.

2019-10-08 11:59:56 UTC

I'm putting gender as a platypus

2019-10-08 11:59:56 UTC

Where I live.

2019-10-08 12:00:17 UTC

Religion "Social justice"

2019-10-08 12:00:26 UTC

Gonna be a wild ride when that comes out

2019-10-08 12:00:59 UTC

What about religion: “extinction rebellion?”

2019-10-08 12:01:13 UTC

Nah social justice is the church

2019-10-08 12:01:17 UTC

ER is a sect

2019-10-08 12:01:49 UTC

In fact nah
