In council houses they can prompt investigations into that system and kick you out
You're coming up with some awefully comlex and non-practical ways to beat this
So in reality, they won't happen
Yeah for council houses
Not private rent
People already do that sort of thing
I'd imagine if the tax system was implemented they'd use the same tactic
People do lots to avoid tax
And when they're caught out? @Joshu
That's a big bill!!
Tax avoidance
Is not evation
One is legal
One is not
One is unlawful
One is illegal
No
One is legal one is not
Avoidance is legally avoiding tax using loopholes
Evasion is doing it illegally
Yeah changed it
For example
I think Evasion is not reporting taxable things accurately
I own a Ltd company, I earn minimum wage but am payed dividends etc etc
That's avoidance
Okay fair enough you're right
You pay less tax than normal through different routes
There are whole accountancy firm which deal with contractors who do exactly that
Even claiming a home office and claiming VAT back on shit like TP
Good one for all
If you don't get the full 45p per mile for own car milage at work
The whole "muhhtaxevasion" thing is a bit of a unicorn
Claim the excess back on you self assessment
I mean only worth if you do alot of miles though
You need to keep records
tbh all of this is a bit of a house of cards
all you need to do is misread 1 law and you can get a massive tax bill
That's what tax advisors are for
They make good money
If you need tax advisors then the tax system is too complicated
