Seven of nine, having the Borgs vast knowledge of different species, becomes the weapons officer and kicks serious arse.
Tom and B'Elanna have an on again off again romance but eventually get married. They keep their positions on the helm and in engineering respectively.
Q junior, having the evil Janeway as a rolemodel, doesn't mature the way the continuum would like and ends up getting stuck on voyager. But they can't just kick him off the ship either... so he ends up joining the crew and annoying everyone.
Upon getting home to the Alpha quadrant they find (ignore the obvious timeline issues) the federation still at war with the Dominion, and things are going badly. Very badly. The reality of getting her crew home, only to find her home in ruins, sends her into a rage and she vows to destroy the Dominion at all costs, again with no regard to morality.
DS9 is crippled beyond repair and Benjamin Sisko is missing in action, presumed dead.
