@petit bourgeois It's been incorporated perfectly into it as an ideological slogan, the understanding that gave rise to the ideas is meanwhile being lost. Ownership of the means of production is something capitalism has no problem propagating if it serves to stabilize capital, same with the dictatorship of the proletariat, in the worse case scenario you end up with a ML state. What the real goal is, is to fundamentally reorganize society as to abandon the law of value and move into the organization around use value, and for that we need sensible theory and praxis which allows us to do this without degenerating into opportunism - that is social democracy, state capitalism, fascism and so on.

Look at all communist parties in the world and leftist movements, unions as well, they serve to organize workers and paint pictures of worker control & organization, of automation and luxury, all unwilling to adhere to the fundamental message that Marx delivered to us.
