Globalism is such a vague concept that it can be confused with imperialism or anti-chauvinism. When conservatives talk about globalism they use it to attack marxists that are internationalists in their solidarity; who could also be nationalists at the same time or not. And also, it's used for anti-imperialism when imperialists countries invade other ones. Since anti imperialism is only achievable in a socialist country or one counteracting an imperialist bloc, their calls of globalism become a word to attack international solidarity and accuse the others of wanting to invade countries in one case; in the second (better) case, they denounce imperialism calling it globalism without going to the root of the problem; that is, just pointing out a sympton proposing the cancer as the cure (remember how Trump is invading and pointed out the "globalism" of Obama).
