Well now you're thinking. Every communist system requires an economic subclass to exploit!

2017-05-29 05:23:46 UTC

Well, it doesn't have to be communism. Apply it to any proselytising movement. Why don't Christians try to convert chimps too? Or plan for their future when they can recognise it?

2017-05-29 05:25:03 UTC

@OF-8 If a superintelligent robot was put in charge of a state to maximise happiness and productivity, would you call that exploitation?

2017-05-29 05:27:19 UTC

Politics that aims to create a better humanity, has to ask itself why not better other species which can potentially understand the politics and benefit in the future?

2017-05-29 05:27:30 UTC

Why don't humans in general want to advance other species?

2017-05-29 05:27:44 UTC

Yup.

2017-05-29 05:28:12 UTC

This AI driven socialism meme is destined to fail.

2017-05-29 05:28:25 UTC

Prove that you have personal sovereignty.

2017-05-29 05:28:25 UTC

All the systems it proceeds from have failed.

2017-05-29 05:28:58 UTC

To whom? Some jackass who can't feel the demiurge or sort out a political system? Fuck off!

2017-05-29 05:29:10 UTC

There's my personal sovereignty.

2017-05-29 05:29:39 UTC

It is a hypothetical. Let's call it Aliens or Space Jesus, not AI. The point is, would you rather live better or live with a fake sense of freedom in the gutter.

2017-05-29 05:31:19 UTC

The fact that you believe in an Absolute shows that you are not free.

2017-05-29 05:35:47 UTC

Here's my problem. If the Party is designed and necessary to raise the human level to be able to accept Communism, then you can apply this mentor principal to not just humanity, but any species capable of having a relationship to the means of production. Chimps resemble early humans, and socially have a kind of 'primitive communism' (Engels).

2017-05-29 05:36:59 UTC

So then after the State dissolves away then future humans will work to educate other species. And so on and so on.

2017-05-29 05:40:17 UTC

But where does that end?

2017-05-29 05:41:19 UTC

By definition, all life on earth cannot be free from exploitation.

2017-05-29 05:44:21 UTC

Life itself has this goal, but it is not specific to any one species. When one kind reaches Communism, it has to help the rest of life reach this point. But then the means of production can not rely on other species which are exploited. The future of life requires an energy source which is independent of other life. Like the sun. Which can never reach a state of 'class consciousness' or the like in the future, and only this impossibility makes it allowable as an energy source.

2017-05-29 05:45:00 UTC

The future of Communism must be extraterrestrial.

2017-05-29 05:46:32 UTC

Literally The Borg.

2017-05-29 05:48:08 UTC

All biological material that has the potential to realise Communism in the future must be taken up into the Collective.

2017-05-29 05:48:47 UTC

Enslavement to the whims of an alien force? Yup sounds like communism.

2017-05-29 05:50:11 UTC

This is my logical conclusion for Marxist-Leninism.

2017-05-29 05:51:13 UTC

If Communism is always the best and inevitable ends to the struggle over the means of production, then why not intervene and save them the trouble?

2017-05-29 05:51:27 UTC

You'd just become enslaved to the alien collective. How is that in any way desirable?

2017-05-29 05:52:08 UTC

The argument would be is that this is the goal of life and it would be our fate anyway. Accelerating towards this end would be altruistic.

2017-05-29 05:52:40 UTC

I used the example of a superadvanced AI than hands you the keys to immortality, for example.

2017-05-29 05:53:02 UTC

Its our fate to be taken over by aliens/AI? Doesn't seem very realistic.

2017-05-29 05:53:12 UTC

It's not literal.

2017-05-29 05:53:24 UTC

Only the Communist part is.

2017-05-29 05:53:41 UTC

And the future of Communist society becoming space-faring.

2017-05-29 05:54:06 UTC

The future of Human Society will be space-faring.

2017-05-29 05:54:41 UTC

Nothing about a space-faring society is exclusive to any single ideology.

2017-05-29 05:54:53 UTC

Technically, we already are space-faring.

2017-05-29 05:55:18 UTC

Well, We've yet to set foot on another planet, so not by much

2017-05-29 05:55:18 UTC

I mean specifically for reasons of not exploiting other species and finding an independent energy source.

2017-05-29 05:55:47 UTC

Space-faring is a necessary of future Communism, not so with Capitalism.

2017-05-29 05:55:56 UTC

How so?

2017-05-29 05:56:39 UTC

Capitalism is about accumulating profits. Humans don't need to leave earth to do that. In fact it would be more economically if they didn't.

2017-05-29 05:57:27 UTC

The spirit of exploration and expansion is as present in Capitalism as it is with Communism.

2017-05-29 05:57:53 UTC

Only to pursue profits. Exploration in space will be done with robots.
