By definition, all life on earth cannot be free from exploitation.
Life itself has this goal, but it is not specific to any one species. When one kind reaches Communism, it has to help the rest of life reach this point. But then the means of production can not rely on other species which are exploited. The future of life requires an energy source which is independent of other life. Like the sun. Which can never reach a state of 'class consciousness' or the like in the future, and only this impossibility makes it allowable as an energy source.
The future of Communism must be extraterrestrial.
Literally The Borg.
All biological material that has the potential to realise Communism in the future must be taken up into the Collective.
Enslavement to the whims of an alien force? Yup sounds like communism.
This is my logical conclusion for Marxist-Leninism.
If Communism is always the best and inevitable ends to the struggle over the means of production, then why not intervene and save them the trouble?
You'd just become enslaved to the alien collective. How is that in any way desirable?
The argument would be is that this is the goal of life and it would be our fate anyway. Accelerating towards this end would be altruistic.
I used the example of a superadvanced AI than hands you the keys to immortality, for example.
Its our fate to be taken over by aliens/AI? Doesn't seem very realistic.
It's not literal.
Only the Communist part is.
And the future of Communist society becoming space-faring.
The future of Human Society will be space-faring.
Nothing about a space-faring society is exclusive to any single ideology.
Technically, we already are space-faring.
Well, We've yet to set foot on another planet, so not by much
I mean specifically for reasons of not exploiting other species and finding an independent energy source.
How so?
Capitalism is about accumulating profits. Humans don't need to leave earth to do that. In fact it would be more economically if they didn't.
The spirit of exploration and expansion is as present in Capitalism as it is with Communism.
Only to pursue profits. Exploration in space will be done with robots.
Because it is more cost effective.
Societies with free markets aren't SOLEY driven by profits, and there can still be economic incentives in space that have yet to be discovered.
Rare and expensive materials in asteroids for example.
Yes they are, free markets exists solely for profit, it could not function without it, it is the first necessary economic need.
And like I said, space will be for robots not humans.
Maybe in Ancapistan but that's not what we're talking about.
What are we talking about? Where would you like to move the goal posts?
I want a Fascist state, not a society driven soley by profits.
If my profile didn't clue you in.
Good, I was a Fascist. I can ask you some good questions.
fine
What does Fascism do once it defeats all its enemies?
Establish an authoritarian state that uses its power to serve only the best interests of the people.
What is the best interests of the people in a Total Global Fascist Empire?
There probably wouldn't be a global Fascist Empire, so to speak. Rather the Fascist nations would serve their own people, but could still have reasonable interactions with other forms of states. Like Germany and Finland for example.
At least that's my thoughts
