Probably would have advocated for protecting your surroundings if he already didn't

It's not human if it can't sign a contract.
No reason to turn something that can't be in debt into a creditgoy, so I'd say no.
I've hit a wall. Human beings, as is, cannot exist in a Communist world. Human beings have to be transformed, first by the Party then by the State. Including myself, sometimes prone to mystical thinking.
@OF-8 Why can't chimp sign a contract?
You know. I don't know.
Go find out.
Go give the gift of communism to chimps.
Ethics aside. Chimps could be cheap labour.
Because that's never turned out awful for the chimps.
Well now you're thinking. Every communist system requires an economic subclass to exploit!
Well, it doesn't have to be communism. Apply it to any proselytising movement. Why don't Christians try to convert chimps too? Or plan for their future when they can recognise it?
@OF-8 If a superintelligent robot was put in charge of a state to maximise happiness and productivity, would you call that exploitation?
Politics that aims to create a better humanity, has to ask itself why not better other species which can potentially understand the politics and benefit in the future?
Why don't humans in general want to advance other species?
Yup.
This AI driven socialism meme is destined to fail.
Prove that you have personal sovereignty.
All the systems it proceeds from have failed.
There's my personal sovereignty.
It is a hypothetical. Let's call it Aliens or Space Jesus, not AI. The point is, would you rather live better or live with a fake sense of freedom in the gutter.
The fact that you believe in an Absolute shows that you are not free.
Here's my problem. If the Party is designed and necessary to raise the human level to be able to accept Communism, then you can apply this mentor principal to not just humanity, but any species capable of having a relationship to the means of production. Chimps resemble early humans, and socially have a kind of 'primitive communism' (Engels).
So then after the State dissolves away then future humans will work to educate other species. And so on and so on.
But where does that end?
By definition, all life on earth cannot be free from exploitation.
Life itself has this goal, but it is not specific to any one species. When one kind reaches Communism, it has to help the rest of life reach this point. But then the means of production can not rely on other species which are exploited. The future of life requires an energy source which is independent of other life. Like the sun. Which can never reach a state of 'class consciousness' or the like in the future, and only this impossibility makes it allowable as an energy source.
The future of Communism must be extraterrestrial.
Literally The Borg.
All biological material that has the potential to realise Communism in the future must be taken up into the Collective.
Enslavement to the whims of an alien force? Yup sounds like communism.
This is my logical conclusion for Marxist-Leninism.
If Communism is always the best and inevitable ends to the struggle over the means of production, then why not intervene and save them the trouble?
You'd just become enslaved to the alien collective. How is that in any way desirable?
The argument would be is that this is the goal of life and it would be our fate anyway. Accelerating towards this end would be altruistic.
I used the example of a superadvanced AI than hands you the keys to immortality, for example.
Its our fate to be taken over by aliens/AI? Doesn't seem very realistic.
It's not literal.
Only the Communist part is.
