how do I redpill bar wastrels on Mao
I would personally love to see you try, though.
I am in Taiwan
! How do people there generally feel about Mao?
Apologies, I forgot.
about Mao? They're proud to be independent
I would probably get punched in the face for trying
I take that back, I wouldn't like to see that.
lol
don't worry about it
you know
back when Mao was around
and when Chiang was too
they would argue over wether or not Sun Yat Sen was a communist or a nationalist
That would have been interesting to listen to (provided I could understand it). Which do you think?
All I've read is that the Kuomintang were nationalists but I feel like there could be a lot of nuance that I'm missing.
Sun Yat Sen was essentially Chiang Kai Shek's mentor
and the RoC is (as we would say) built upon his "three people's principles"
innit
Kuomintang was pretty socialist in comparison to other "nationalists", I did some research on them and was surprised by how left-leaning they were. Although at the end of the day they were still probably nothing more than a Chinese equivalent to Ba'athism, i.e. left-leaning fash.
What made them unique was their specifically Chinese values, some of which Mao also adopted.
>in a communist world there would be no discord because the freedom to persue individual business and ideas is illegal and has to be state owned
