Anyway, you don't seem to grasp the basic idea that poor people are always going to be pissed. Unless you give them what they want, you have to oppress them for eternity, which is not feasible. But you're welcome to try.
Did someone say picking Cotton?
Of course poors are going to be pissed if you tell them they deserve to live like kings
I have two questions regarding communism.
receiving compensation for your labour is you owning it
It's not about what you tell them. All oppressed peoples in history revolt.
from a collectivised perspective giving everything to the people is freedom but in truth nobody gets anything
nobody has choice
Why not?
the individuality is stripped away
Does free will really exist?
That is not very scientific.
of course it fucking does
and all your utopia does is strip it away and put everything on rails
Haha, does it?
can you save up, quit your job and decide to go live overseas for a year?
that sounds pretty free to me
Depends on which stage.
but of course if you do that commisar Boris will have to put you in your place for not contributing to your share of the labour
Early or Late Socialism, which is then predicted to move into Communism.
Capitalism actually stifles progress.
Because it focuses on profit, which can be antagonistic to progress.
That actually sounds pretty great
Okay mate, have a good one.
I can just imagine these words above a gate, "Work sets you free"
That's bloody great.
👏
Work hard enough and one day your work will set you free
Sounds great.
I do wonder where I've heard that before...
@Deleted User are you here babe?
Hi.
Hello
Two questions
1- Really basic. How will we get over the 'human nature' factor, as in "I'm better, physically and mentally from this guy but I get the same as him and treated equal" thing?
This is against human nature, ego, envy will always occur and shit will go south
Envy is based on material differences. When it is impossible to hoard resources or block others from the means of production, there is no basis for envy. In the early stages of Socialism, the people will probably have to also be educated in this reality.
How many generations do you think is required for this change, replacing the whole idea with education?
Hard to say.
The forces of Socialism have to have strong governments in order to protect the gains of the works and fight against capitalism in the world. The context of education co-exists with this struggle. It could take hundreds of years or longer before all bourgeois ideology is removed.
