is it somehow unbased to say that workers simply tned to be in favor of ore socialization within the economy?

It could mean a nationalistic approach and say

restricting the NHS to only citizens

and benefits

in this case it refers to reducing welfare benefits for the unemployed

as I understand the NHS has overwhelming support from all classes, at least to remain public
