@Deleted User It depends on the kind of revolution. It must resemble a total transfer of power which resembled in the past. This would would a little different in the modern context, especially since its just not factories and land, it is also infrastructure that is connected and dependant globally. I think too much isolationism in this context would be fatal, but also there would need to be a fine balance with engaging in imperialist culture but not becoming infected with it. I mean, in terms of subsequent state building.

Creating a very strong ideological framework that can penetrate through all other imperialist tendencies would be key. Propaganda and the seizing of idea space will make or break the continued success of compliance of the proletariat. If you look at modern ideology examples like radical islam, you can see it is possible to create strong ideological context that can succeed in whatever adverse conditions it is exposed to.
